LUXURY BEAUTIFUL LAKE FRONT HOME IN THE ADIRONDACKS

Our family thoroughly enjoyed a vacation week at Camp Awad. Upon arrival, the owner met us and gave us a tour of the home, explaining amenities and answering questions. He was accommodating, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We couldn't ask for more.

This beautiful home is exceptionally well cared for and clean. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The huge kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of room for a family to cook together. Although there is a large family style diningroom, we usually ate dinner outside on the deck overlooking the lake. We did use the diningroom to play games in the evening.

Outside, there are beautiful gardens and great lawn space with lots of room for outside games. The lawn slopes gently to the beach where there is a lovely sitting area. Dock space was perfect for our boat, and the beach provided easy access for launching the kayaks we brought with us. We also appreciated having the outside shower so we could remove sand before returning inside. The lake itself was quiet, especially during the work week, which was great for water skiing and tubing.

People of all ages would enjoy a vacation in this special rental. We recommend it and look forward to returning!

We absolutely loved our vacation on Paradox Lake at this location. The home is immaculately kept, modern, and was built to last. It is truly luxury living on a gorgeous lake. The beds were very comfortable and the home itself is very spacious. There is a huge kitchen and a nice, large family style dining room. Nearly every room of the house gives stunning views of Paradox Lake and the Adirondack Mountains abound.

On the property, there are beautiful gardens and an expansive front yard. There is also a very nice sitting area down by the lake, where the views are breathtaking. We saw the loons every day and heard them every night. The swimming on the beach is great and there is a nice floating swim-dock that will entice both children and adults. If you have little ones, they will appreciate the large sandy beach with a stream that enters the lake and creates an imaginative interactive water play area. Fishing here was great too!

The location is very favorable for excellent hiking as well as for visiting historical sites such as Fort Ticonderoga. You are only minutes from Schroon Lake Village which is a hidden gem equipped with its own farmer's market and town store. There is also a very convenient Grand Union in town. The best part of Schroon Lake Village is the public beach, which is like a step back in time. In short, the house is wonderful as are the grounds and the lakefront that is enjoyable from the many decks of the house. We recommend this vacation oasis with unbridled enthusiasm.

We could not have asked for a better family vacation. It was our first time on Paradox Lake and we will be back! It was so nice walking out of the house right onto your own beach. We have our own boat so it was great to have a dock to use. The house was perfect, so much space for all of us. We didn't even leave for the first 4 days! We had everything we could have needed! I loved cooking in such a big kitchen. This vacation not only met our expectations it went way beond. We didn't want to leave! We totaly recommend this house!! You will not be disappointed!
