Gite Crieron is a lovely restored stone barn maintaining all its charm and character, built around 1800 it nestles in the Gueyze valley amid open countryside. Decorated and furnished with care and attention, the accommodation has been finished and equipped to a high standard. The extensive accommodation sleeps up to five, offering large open plan kitchen/dining room, lounge, and two large bedrooms both with en-suite facilities, outside seating area, swimming pool and garden with ample parking. The village of Sos is a short walk away offering shops, restaurant and other basic amenities. With a wide range of sporting and leisure activities close by such as golf, walking, horse riding, fishing and swimming it’s an ideal holiday location for both adults and children. A wonderful place to visit at any time of the year. We understand that the cost of travelling at weekends can be high, so we are pleased to offer flexible and mid week bookings as a means to reduce your holiday cost.

Gite Crieron is conveniently situated in the south of the Lot-et-Garonne at the point close to the departments of Landes and Gers; the village of Sos with full amenities is a short walk away. The relaxed atmosphere and extremely friendly country people make this a perfect area to unwind. Walk freely amongst the vines, forests and valleys of this region. Dine at the many great restaurants with choices from the traditional French brasserie or bistro to fine haute de cuisine. For golfers there is a choice of excellent courses at Barbaste, Bon-Encontre and Guinlet (Eauze). Canoeing is available at Mezin and canal boats can be hired at Nérac. For a truly relaxing experience visit Barbotan-les-thermes hot springs. For motor sport enthusiasts, the Nogaro circuit is 23 Km away offering a full motor sport calendar. This area has many wonderful medieval towns and villages to discover and explore including historic riverside market towns, hilltop villages, Bastides and Roman garrison towns.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We are currently offering 10% couple only discounts. We are also offering a 2% discount on all 2010 bookings taken between 1st October 2009 and 27th February 2010, please contact us. We understand that cash flow can be an issue in the current climate, so are are please to offer clients stage payment facilities if required, please ask us for details. We also understand that flight and ferry prices can be higher at weekends, so we offer fully flexible booking arrangements. All towels and bed linen is included in the price other than pool towels. If space or weight is a problem when travelling we can supply pool towels at a small extra charge of €9 per person per week. We are also pleased to offer our guests discounted bicycle hire.
  • An additional security deposit of €250-00 or equivalent currency, against any breakages is payable at the time the balance payment is due. This deposit, or balance of deposit will be returned to the party leader (the name of the person on the booking confirmation form) within 7 (seven) working days of departure. A heating supplement of 100 Euros per week (14 Euros per night) is payable for bookings taken between January and April and November and January.
