A sweet cabin and beautiful place to be on Cameno Isand

This warm and cozy cabin has a full kitchen and everything one needs to feel very at home while having a break from life's hustle and bustle! We went to rest and relax after the holidays and found this spot to be a place to recommend - the surroundings are idealic and lovely. It was sunny and a view of the north cascades peeked out. This cabin has a large upstairs master bedroom with views of the water and old orchard trees out the window. There's great walking on these quiet, out of the way streets and a lovely little waterfront beach nearby with a boat ramp. If you had a kayak or canoe, just a few blocks away you could paddle from the little beach into the quiet bay this cabin faces. There are two state parks on the island with lots of walking trails and some historic sites, Utsalady Bay being one, with reallly interesting history about the island. Cameno remains rural with farms and beautiful undeveloped scenary. If you drive from Seattle, views of the Skagit Flats are awesome on the way. We saw swans, egrets and great blue herons. What a treat and thanks again to our hosts.
