The Condo is located towards the south end of Pelican Bay, just a 1/3 mile walk to the Philharmonic Hall, Naples Museum of Art, and the beautiful Waterside Shops.
It faces west, with only foliage, a pond, and the mangrove preservation area between it and the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Walk or bike around the pond to the paved berm which leads to the boardwalk connecting to the beach pavilion and the Gulf. A tram also runs to the beach pavilion for your convenience. It is about 1/3 mile from the condo to the boardwalk, with no vehicular traffic but for the quiet electric trams that can take you from a rest spot by the pond right down to the beach pavilion. The pavilion includes 2 restaurants, sun decks, showers and bathrooms, and beach chaises and umbrellas.
The Condo itself is on the second floor, with a private ground floor entry. The well-designed floor plan and vaulted ceilings give an open, spacious feeling.
Decor is modern, comfortable, and harmonious. A large sofa has built-in recliners at each end for your comfort. The screened lanai is 150 square feet, with south and west exposure.
Glencove is a cluster of 2-story buildings, and so is most appealing to those who do not care for the hotel like feeling of a high rise.
Children are welcome if they conduct themselves in keeping with a peaceful, quiet neighborhood.
Pelican Bay is a marvelous place to rest and recreate, and offers many activities enjoyed by residents and visitors to Southwest Florida. One can be as busy and social, or as unhurried and private as one likes. The Gulf beach is almost 3 miles long, and has NO highrises for most of this distance; towards the north, near the Ritz Carlton, are several multi-million dollar homes and condos. The Waldorf-Astoria is less than 1/2 mile to the south, at the southern border of Pelican Bay. The entire area is beautiful, and the weather is usually great.

For some years I have sold properties in Pelican Bay, starting with developer sales in single family homes, garden and mid-rise and high-rise condominiums. Watching the carefully planned growth of this unique Gulf-front community, I eventually purchased this condo/home for investment and possible retirement living. A Wisconsin native, but Florida resident for 36 years, I am still active in rentals and sales of local real estate, and involved with our Board of Realtors.

The design of this neighborhood won me over. My residence seems like a home, not a 'shot-gun' condo or a hotel-style property. High ceilings, vaulted ceilings in the living room, a skylight, and other features give a spacious, open feeling. The room sizes are generous, master bath is always light, both baths have tubs and showers, closets are larger than usual, etc. Looking out towards the pond, mangroves, and Gulf sunsets but on high ground sealed the deal.
Glencove has one of the finer pool areas in all of Pelican Bay. An easy walk takes one to the Naples Art Museum, the Philharmonic Hall, and the many shops and restaurants at Waterside. In the other direction, an easy walk takes one to the south beach by Clam Pass, without ever crossing a busy street. The fitness center, extensive tennis program, and beach front facilities with restaurants are all 'world class.' A superb place to relax and enjoy life.
VRBO's map fails to place my condo-home in Pelican Bay, just west of the Philharmonic Hall. The south beach access is within an easy walk, or ride the Pelican Bay tram to Beach pavilion for shelter, with huge sun deck, showers, restaurant, bar, and sailboats. For owners, renters, and guests only. A second beach pavilion to the north is also available. Various activities including fitness programs and parties are held at the pavilions. Enjoy these privileges like belonging to an upscale beach club, as the tenant of my property. A state of the art Fitness Center and tennis courts may also be used.

This very inadequate form does not allow me to emphasize that any rental must be for at least 90 days, by condo rules. Do not even ask to lease for a shorter time period, or to bring a pet (also not allowed, by rule.) ANNUAL = $2000/mo. 4 months seasonal=$4300/month. High Season= December 15 -- April 30.
Initial deposit to hold the property. Balance amounts and timing depends on length and timing of lease.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
