This comfortable and relaxing two bedroom, two bath condo is ideally situated just a block from the beautiful gulf beaches or from the main boulevard with popular nightlife, entertainment, and some of the best dining on the island. Our recently remodeled condo comes with a full kitchen including microwave and a blender for your tropical margaritas. The kitchen includes everything you'd expect for a comfortable stay, including a washer and dryer. The unit has tile floors and all furnishing are contemporary, including a large white leather couch big enough to sleep on. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and dresser, while the second bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a huge walk-in closet. There are 2 TVs, a DVD player, and a stereo with CD player. A high-speed wireless WiFi Internet connection is included

It has a private balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or favorite beverage while relaxing in the island breezes. You can see a bit of the bay by day, breathtaking sunsets at night, and a spectacular view of the entertainment district at night.

Condo Features: Our recently remodeled condo comes with a full kitchen including microwave and a blender for your tropical margaritas. The kitchen includes everything you'd expect, including a washer and dryer. All furnishing are contemporary, including a large white leather couch big enough to sleep on. A high-speed Internet connection (Ethernet) is included.

EVERYTHING within WALKING DISTANCE: Two parking spots means you never have to worry about beach parking. You can easily walk to the beach and back to the condo for a snack, lunch, or a dip in the solar-panel heated pool as often as you want. When the sun sets, it is again only a short walk to the bay side for gorgeous sunsets.SORRY, NO PETS and NO SMOKING IN THE CONDO!

Well equipped kitchen and we really liked the "home" feel of the place, not like the commercial concrete and steel tower condos. It is an excellent location; only a short walk to the beach but far enough from the noise of the main roads. Don't know the reason for fireworks Friday night, but we had a great view of it from the balcony...

Sadly, I would not recommend it.

The condo itself is nice enough. Sadly, I would not recommend it. We arrived at 5pm, carried our gear and luggage up to the condo only to find that it was never cleaned from the previous tenants. We had to carry our gear back to the car and go kill a couple of hours while the condo was cleaned. The condo manager was courteous and apologetic. It was a little disturbing to see the condo that way and it was certainly a big inconvenience for us, but mistakes happen and we made the best of it and had a nice time in SPI. We thought an adjustment in the rate was in order. However, the condo owner disagreed. I did get an apology, but apparently, when they get the money- there's no letting go of it no matter what kind of experience you have with the condo. This unwillingness of the condo owner to do the right thing tainted an otherwise really nice trip to SPI.
Owner's Response: I assume it is reasonable to expect one unsatisfied renter in three years of renting. We will simply let all of the previous responses speak for themselves and for our sense of doing the right thing...

we had a wonderful stay at the vissers' condo. it is in a great location and is very neat and tidy. the vissers are wonderful people and have thought of everything to make your stay complete. we can't wait to return to SPI and this home-away-from home.

Our stay at the Visser condo was amazing! We had a great time discovering new places and meeting new friends. It was our first visit to Padre Island and hopefully we will have many more. The condo provided everything needed for a lovely vacation.

Andy and Anita are Wonderful owners! We are confident that we would hve been able to say the same about the condo had we been able to stay there. Unfortunately however we were not able to stay in the unit because of hurricane Dolly. When Andy and Anita understood the damage done to the island they immediately refunded all of our money! They didn't have to do that. Such integrity fairness and understanding is rare in this day and age. It is nice to know that such honor is still alive. We are extremely grateful to Andy and Anita for the way they handled this unfortunate event. We look forward to staying in the unit in the future. Thanks again Andy and Anita. We hope to speak with you again soon about renting the condo. Next time we ask, we will make sure it isn't during hurricane season!
