Outside Area:
Outside “Far Reaches’” front door you’ll find a flagstone patio area, a wonderful spot to sip coffee in the early morning. A corridor leads past a gas barbeque grill where you can cook dinner or even all of your meals. Further, the flagstone leads to a large outdoor shower area. The shower has three heads and is a main attraction for guests no matter what the temperature outside.
The property’s large redwood deck wraps around half the cottage and is covered with teak furniture for lounging and outdoor living as well as dining. Outdoor heat lamps help keep the area cozy on crisp evenings. A fireplace chiminea and fountain provide a lovely ambiance. Also on the deck you’ll find the garden house, imported from England, which serves as a third bedroom.
Walk through the Balinese door and along the bamboo-laden pathway to the yard area. Pass by the stone temple gates where you’ll come across the Meditation Pavilion, a cozy covered bed with pillows and a perfect spot to relect quietly.
Inside Far Reaches:
Indoor you’ll find a warm, comfortable, cozy and attractive cottage that you’ll enjoy calling home for your stay at the Russian River. Soft creamy colors combine with periwinkle and natural pine wood to create a soothing atmosphere. The main room has 2 sofas, a small office alcove with a desk and a dining table for 4.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the favorite room of some renters. Besides the customary refrigerator and gas stove/oven, there is also a dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, small food processor, rice cooker as well as general cookware and dishes. Filtered water is provided at the tap
Further amenities in the home include a washer and dryer, Comcast cable, a DVD player and VHS player. There is a library of videotapes and DVDs as well as shelves with books for those more interested in reading. A stereo with CD player is available and board games are available for entertainment.
