At the beautiful and charming little medieval (c.1200 century) village of Campagnatico (700 inhabitants) you will find a small supermarket, a pharmacy, a butcher, a bakery, a bank, a post office, two bars and three restaurants: a pizza place, a trattoria and a very luxurious one (which is an insider’s tip). The next big town is Grosseto, just 18 km away. There you will find everything you need including huge supermarkets, fresh fish markets and a really nice shopping area and walking zone. Campagnatico is located exactly in the middle of a triangle between the three big cities of Florence, Pisa and Rome. There is also good railway connection between these three cities and Grosseto, which is great for arriving to the farm, as well as for sightseeing. The big and beautiful nature reserve 'Parco naturale della Maremma' and the nicest beaches of the Maremma region such as Punta Ala, Monte Argentario, Castiglione della Pescaia are in only half an hour by car from the property.

Golf: 2 different 18 holes Golf Courses located within 40km from the property, open all the year: “Golf Club Toscana - Il Pelagone” (35 km) and “Golf Club Punta Ala” (about 35 km).
'Il Pelagone' is 18 holes, 5.920m, and PAR 71-SSS 70, with many facilities: training field, putting green, pro shop, hire cart, golf bags and trolley, bar, swimming-pool, volley, baby-sitting. During winter is closed on Wednesday.
'Punta Ala', opened in 1964, is 18 holes, 6.168m, PAR 72-SSS 72, with driving range, golf-cars, pro-shop, golf trolley, bar, restaurant and spectacular views all around. Open everyday.
