This home is located in The Hideout, a private four star community.

People that have stayed in homes at the Hideout repeatedly tell us that this is the nicest house they've ever stayed in.

The first level offers a comfortable Recreation Room made for fun and relaxation. There is a full-sized pool table, air hockey table, ping-pong table and darts.

The main level includes a beautiful Family Room with a propane fireplace, a separate dining area and a large and complete kitchen. The kitchen is perfect for preparing full holiday meals. All plates, utensils, dishes, glasses etc. are provided. The Master Bedroom is on the main floor and it includes a king-sized bed with custom headboard, and a sitting area (with space for a young child). A large full Master Bath enhances your comfort and relaxation.

The third level includes 2 private queen bedrooms with their own televisions, a loft for relaxing or sleeping and a full bath. This home is large enough for everyone to have some space while relaxing with your family and friends.

The Hideout (our community) enhances your enjoyment by providing excellent entertainment, plus a host of amenities like golf, swimming (pools and lakes) and tennis. Daily activities for the kids offer great memories for years to come.

The new Mount Airy & Mohegan Sun Casino Resorts are a comfortable drive from our home. Take a short ride and enjoy gaming (3000 slot machines), Entertainment, Dining, golf and up-scale amenities including a wonderful Spa.

About The Owner

We stayed in this home fall of 2010 and fell in love with it! The following summer, we bought it!

The Owner purchased this house in 2011
Why The Owner chose Lake Ariel

We fell in love with the peacefulness of the home and community. Just sitting on the deck, watching the deer is perfect.

What makes this house unique

Our guests describe this property as beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable.

We are located in a well-organized and planned community called 'The Hideout'. The Hideout offers organized activities for children and adults alike. They also offer wonderful facilities and amenities (e.g. 2 Heated Swimming Pools, Tennis Courts, Golf Course, Ski Hill, Tubing, Snow Boarding, Fitness Center, Indoor Sports Center (Indoor Tennis, Paddle Ball & table games).

We are also located close to the Mt. Airy and Mohegan Sun Casinos. They offer gambling and great entertainment. We are also near the 'Crossings Premium Outlets' in Tannersville.

The Perfect Home Away From Home

When I first saw the pictures of this home I thought this place was good. But when you actually go in person, the pictures don't do this home justice. My guests and I had a wonderful time there. The home was huge inside and out. There was so much room we had to call each other to see where everyone was. The home was spotless from top to bottom. The best part was the game room. We had long tournaments at the ping pong table and the pool table. The grill was nice and big so that we could cook for 6 all at once. I am from the city so I was amazed at how quiet it was at night. And the best part was the first day . We pulled up to a stop sign and we were next to 6 deer. We took pics and the deer looked at us so we could have great photos. I would recommend this property to anyone with kids or are kids at heart. I can't wait to go back again.

I stayed in this home 2 years ago when it was owned by someone else and had a great experience so I figured why not stay again. The new owner, Jeff, was just as easy to work with. He made the renting process hassle free and within a week of my departure, he had already returned my security deposit. The home is beautiful, spacious, and inviting for families or in my case, friends. The game room keeps everyone entertained. Definitely will stay here again!

I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. The pictures do not justify exactly how beautiful and comfortable the house is. The owner Jeff was amazing at making sure everything was perfect. And it was. Definitely will return!!

Wonderful long weekend!

What a setting, super home which was tasteful and comfortable for families to relax and enjoy! Basement game room great for kids and adults. The tubing hill was great fun for the kids. Visited the pub, very friendly and the entire Hide Out community felt very safe and secure. Will be in touch about next year, super place to stay!
