Rome/Esquilino--Downtown Eastside. Large 1700 sq ft., Two Bedroom(sleeps Four, (One Queen-Sized and One Double Bed). Two Full Baths,(Two Showers and One Tub). Located on an Italian 3rd floor, but is truly an American 4th, Elevator, Quiet, in a courtyard, for rent weekly or longer. The building was built 1894. The apartment has been completely Renovated and Designer Furnished---some Vintage mixed with Modern. There are Hardwood Floors throughout. Huge Windows from once upon a time, and Original Wood Shutters that open to the courtyard, where you will view some real Roman laundry. Amenities include a large Chef's Kitchen, Miele Dishwasher, Washer and Dryer, Microwave, Utensils and High End Dishes, Stemware, Pots and Pans. Beautiful linens are included. The apartment is fully Air Conditioned and Heated, all Self Controlled, as well as an Unlimited Supply of Hot Water. There is Satellite TV, a Stereo, DVD, Computer with Broadband, a Printer and Scanner, (all included).

Esquilino, is on the Eastern side of the downtown area, near the train station Termini. The neighborhood is changing, and to me in a great way. It is SAFE and very fun. Certainly the Best location in the city for getting around on foot and to feel the real Rome. The Colosseum is a 10 minute walk, and if you are an okay walker you may walk to all the sites. The train to the airport or a train to take a Day Trip to Florence or Naples for example, is two blocks away. A Five Star gym, an Elegant Shopping Mall and a Supermarket, may be found in the Train Station one block away. A day of Swimming can be enjoyed at a Five Star Hotel located on the corner,(not included in rental price). The best Farmer's Market in Rome, where the Chef's go to shop, is one block. Sitting in the cafes although, is the best activity.....people watching in Rome is worth the trip. The location of the rental is near the corner of Via Principe Amedeo and Via Mamiami.

Pricing is in Euros: All rates quoted reflect the pricing for the apartment as a whole; if one person or four is renting. If a fifth, wishes to stay, a 75 euro additional cost will be applied to the daily rate. Other than that, there are not additional costs. All prices are quoted in euros not US dollars.

Great location and accomodations. We found it clean and well stocked for the first day. Easy walk to train station - 2+ blocks. It has an elevator although small. Fantastic kitchen. Walking distance to most everything. We enjoyed the appartment, had a great time.

What a wonderful apartment! It was large and spacious, well equipped with everything we could want and so very comfortable! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were centrally located, a short distance from everything in Rome, and we were close to the railway Terminal for travel to other parts of Italy. The subway and bus were a block away. We shopped in the nearby Farmer’s Market (which was HUGE) and prepared dinner in the gourmet kitchen. The television, washer and dryer were brand new. We were able to keep up with business correspondence on the computer. We will definitely reserve this apartment the next time we plan to travel to Rome! It really felt like home!
