I did want to let you know we had a fabulous time in Kona and that was largely due to your wonderful place. It's in a great location along Ali'i Drive, nicely and tastefully furnished (everything we needed), great pool and BBQ area, and a fabulous view and sunset! We've been to the Big Island once before so did not feel the need to explore the entire island so pretty much just stayed put and it's so nice to have good accommodations. We appreciate the great last minute deal and the late check-out. Regardless, though, we'd come back and will recommend your place to friends and family. Thanks again for the great accommodations. This well appointed and tastefully decorated condo is in easy walking distance of town and close proximity to snorkel and swimming beaches. The condo complex has a great location on the island and the condo unit is in a great location within the complex. The lanai overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the garden area. This is a great view, especially when dining on the lanai. The condo has upgraded kitchen appliances along with a complement of pots, pans, dishes and spices. There is also a new washer and dryer, all the amenities you need to feel like you are at home away from home. We are going back for the 4th time!!!!

I am so glad I took the chance and booked with homeaway.com. the condo was exactly as advertised. Wells kept ,clean and the view was incredible. Sea Village is just far enough away from Kona to be quiet and close enough for a nice walk. I will be back and have told my friends about the condo .

Home away from home for nine fabulous day

This was truly home away from home for nine fabulous days. This was one of our most relaxing vacations. The condo is fully furnished in beautiful tropical decor. The kitchen was fully equipped. This is a very nice, very clean and well-kept condo with an awesome ocean view. We enjoyed fantastic sunsets from the lanai. We also enjoyed relaxing and reading on the lanai. From the lanai we could see the ocean, boats, and one day we saw a cruise ship docked. This is a great location along Alii drive. We had fun walking into town, to the beach, and to breakfast. We also enjoyed making a steak dinner on the BBQ's near the pool. Everything we needed for our steaks were in the fully equipped kitchen (BBQ utensils, pans, dishes and spices). We also enjoyed breakfast at the Green Flash Coffee Deli right on the grounds. We had a wonderful nine days in Kona Hawaii.

Beautiful, easy living

Everything about this Sea Village condo was lovely- great location close by to Kona shopping and restaurants but not close enough to hear noise, beautiful sunsets from lanai, spinner dolphins performing in the mornings, well kept pool, condo itself well equipped, comfortable. Washer/dryer in the condo made laundry easy. The owners sent lots of very useful tips and recommendations that were very much appreciated. We would highly recommend to anyone. The Big Island is truly spectacular especially for people interested in nature, history, and outdoor activities. .

Righteous Condo in Kona!!!

After about 15 minutes you'll feel like you belong to Kona, especially since the digs in this 3rd floor condo include a washer/dryer, a kitchen that probably has more cooking equipment than your own kitchen, and a view that gives the illusion the sea is right below the patio. Pluck the ukulele off the top shelf and play a tune. Great location only a mile from the action of downtown Kona (think mini Waikiki), but I wouldn't recommend walking because there are no sidewalks. Beaches are a bit small in Kona, but if you're lucky, you can get a nice saltwater shower strolling along the giant seawall that extends from the Kona Inn to the King Kam hotel.

Papaya boats at sunrise on the lanai, margaritas at sunset on the lanai. There are other rentals in Sea Village, ones right on the ocean, but this one is superior because you also have a view of the courtyard and all the action around the grills at night. Nothing wrong with being a snoop. My only complaint is that the groundskeepers started a bit early, and that meant for me scraping/sanding off old paint, weed wacking, draining the pool, etc. Other than that, it was serene, especially at night. It appears the clientele is 55+, which we appreciated. No noisy children the entire stay, and a resident Siamese cat named Charley who will gladly keep you company around the bbq grills at night. You don't have to drive for breakfast--they have the Green Flash Coffee & Snack store right on the grounds. Condo is also in striking distance of an array of malls and restaurants, as well as the 190, which takes you up to Waimea's Parker Ranch in under an hour. Would recommend taking the 19 if you want breathtaking views of the ocean along the eastern coast of the Big Island--incredible 200-foot eucalyptus groves and 500-foot gulches.
