3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ~ sleeps 6/8 (sofa bed in lounge)

Villa, screened to all sides, with cactus garden and extensive sunbathing area around 9m x 4m heated pool. Giant games area, with outdoor pool table separated from pool by picket fencing. Canarian BBQ and two tables with parasols for 'al fresco' dining. Fully furnished and equipped, including washing machine, to cater for 6/8 with linen and bath towels provided for your use. Passport safe. Extensive video/DVD library, Sky Satellite television. Very light and attractive living space with mosquito blinds to take advantage of the cooling evening breeze. Roof Terrace with extensive views over whole area. The games area has a shaded seating/lounging area and room for sunbathing, relaxing, giant chess/draughts & outdoor pool championships within the family!. The area is separated by a waste height picket style fence with gate, to afford a self contained area, away from the pool. Garden lighting allows evening relaxation/play while young children sleep in the bedroom overlooking the area.

Local Area: The closest amenities are a 15/20 minute stroll at the Atlantico Centre. There are several bars and restaurants here, as well as good quality shops and a supermarket. There is a bowling alley and children's entertainment area.

The whole area has been tastefully designed and has landscaped gardens and a large promenade leading to two lagoon beaches.

A further 15 mins walk would take you into Caleta De Fuste itself, with it's golden sandy bay, Marina and an extensive selection of shops, restaurants and entertainment.

The local entertainment is 'low key', piano bars and family 'al fresco' dining.

The local taxi service is very efficient and inexpensive.

The Island: I would recommend hiring a car for part, if not all of your stay. There are inlets and bays that still feel as if they have never been discovered, before your visit.

Apart from the incredible beaches, there are inland areas and places of interest to visit.

Villa La Paz is situated in the select area of 'La Siesta', a group of 36 detached properties that are between the Green of the 17th and the 18th Tee. Just a few minutes from the Elba Palace Golf Hotel & Golf Club, with extensive views of the whole area. This area is only a 15 min transfer from the Airport and walking distance from the Atlantico Centre,which houses bars, restaurants, entertainment centre & a variety of shops. This area has two lagoon beaches. A few minutes further on by car is the main town of Caleta De Fuste where diving/watersports, shops & restaurants are available. This is a great area from which to explore the rest of the Island.The Dunes & the remote & rugged inlets to the North, the expansive golden beaches, camel rides and Zoo to the South and the mountains, valleys and villages to the centre.

Other Activities: ten pin bowling, cinema, restaurants, bars, mini golf, outdoor pool, giant chess/draughts/noughts & crosses/Connect 4/ dominoes and quoits.

Golf: The 2004 'Spanish Open' was staged here in April and a great many complimentary remarks were made about the course and the playing conditions.

An 18 hole par 70 with a 50 bay driving range and two practise greens. The 365 day a year course is comfortable to play even in the middle of the day due to the constant cooling breeze. A meandering stream feeds three large lakes throughout the course and is planted with mature palms and attractive cactus and sub tropical gardens.

The club is situated inside the luxurious 5 star Elba Palace Hotel and offers a very fine 19th hole for relaxation. The hotel boasts a very good restaurant for fine dining.

Rental Rates for this vacation villa rental in Caleta de Fuste (El Castillo), Canary Islands

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Rates quoted for 1~6 persons

    Person 7 & 8 charged £25 extra each during 'mid' season & £50 each 'high' season.
    Xmas & New Year weeks only, charged at flat rate, regardless of number of guests. £950 per week
    Children under 2 years old ~ no charge.
    High chairs, cots available for hire from our Management Company.
    Bed linen and bath towels supplied.
    Villa cleaned and fresh linen and towels supplied at end of each week.
    Pool cleaned twice per week.
    Further maid service available at extra cost direct to the Management Company.
    Welcome Grocery pack included
    Refundable 100E deposit taken on arrival and returned last day.
    Non refundable deposit of £100 per week booked requested at time of booking.
    Balance to be paid 6 weeks before holiday.

    If you feel that Villa La Paz is right for you, let me know and I will provisionally hold the dates you have indicated, to allow you time to enquire after flight availability. We can agree how long I will hold the provisional booking for ~ anything from 24hrs to 7 days.
    I will send a brochure, incl booking form.
    Find your flights.
    Phone or e~mail your confirmation to me.
    Complete booking form, with flight info and contact numbers etc.
    Return the completed form to me, including £100 deposit for each week booked.
    Your dates will then be confirmed as booked in my diary and on the availability calendar.
    Send balance payment to me 6 weeks before your holiday departure.
    I will send updates and 'Meet & Greet' information & contact numbers.

  • General Notes;
    Please ensure that you have adequate personal and travel insurance. This is very important for delays, lost luggage, accidents and illness. You will be expected to pay for any medical treatment from the local clinics and claim it back from the insurers.
    It is also advisable to obtain the medical form E111 from your local post office. It helps to have it, if you require hospital treatment.

Notes: Meet & Greet Service at the Airport or Villa~ Contact numbers given ~ Welcome Pack of basic groceries ~ Fans to each room ~ Cleaned freshly for your arrival, with clean linen and towels. Linen & towels will be changed & Villa cleaned at the end of each week, ready for your next week or for incoming guests. Pool cleaned twice a week. The property has high lockable gates to entrance path and carport and has a phone entry system for further privacy. Games area has an outdoor pool table & giant games and is separated from the swimming pool by a picket fence, allowing mum to relax a little more, not needing to jump up quite so quickly to chase a toddler! Although this is a fenced area, it will be up to the guests to decide how secure it is. We cannot accept liability for any escapees!! All games are played at your own risk. Smokers are requested to refrain from smoking inside the villa but instead, take full advantage of the patio and terrace areas.

Fantastic family holiday

We have been to Villa La Paz for our last four holidays. For us it feels like a second home. The villa has everything you require which has been thought through very carefully by its owners. It is very cosy and homely and has lots to do. You can go around the back of the villa and there is a beautiful area with lots of different games to play or you could just sit and chill on the chaise long or relax by the pool. We have got to know the gardener and Pete who cleans the pool and Debbie who looks after the villa, all are friendly and so helpful. The villa is oustandingly clean and spacious. There are a couple of folders in the villa that are very detailed and tell you about everything you need to know from places to visit, car hire companies, medical information etc. For us the villa is very secure and very family orientated and you know where your children are at all times. The villa is about a ten minute walk from Atlantico where there are lots of different shops, places to eat, cinema and bowling. Then you can walk from there along the beach and walk into Caleta, that is about another 10 - 15mins depending on how quick you walk!!!.I cannot say enough about my holidays here, when I arrive I have a tear in my eye because it feels like home and when I leave I am tearful too because of the wonderful holiday I have had. We will be holidaying at Villa La Paz for many more years to come. Andrea
