Only 5 blocks to Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Thundering Surf Water Park, Bay Village Shopping Center, and of course the beach! Beach is 3 SHORT BLOCKS AND HAS BATHROOMS ON SITE. Located on Centre Street the property is just down the street from The Marlin Restaurant and across the street from ice cream shop, Barry's Do Me a Flavor. There are over 10 restaurants in walking distance including the Gables, Black Whale, Tucker's, Buckalew's, Chicken or the Egg, Will's Pancake House and many more. Murphy's Supermarket is around the corner. Central Air, Gourmet Kitchen, full patio, 2 balconies, front porch, off street parking, 8 beach badges and beach equipment included. Location, location, location. Police station just 50 yards away so no problems with large parties or noise at this property. Property backs up to PRIVATE STREET ideal for children's play, riding bikes, scooters, skating, etc

Located in the heart of Beach Haven, Long Beach Island. Within a five block radius you have the beach, Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Thundering Surf Water Park, Bay Village Shopping Center, ten restaurants, full marina with fishing and dinner cruises, supermarket/liquor store, multiple bars/nightclubs, ice cream shop, bagel shop, etc. etc. We've had multiple renters tell us they parked their car and did not use it for the entire week! Bring you jet ski's or boat and utilize the municipal slip located just a few blocks away. Make sure you bring your bikes/skates/scooters as the private road behind the property is perfect for kids.

Forward bedroom has a double with a pull out trundle. sleeps four adults and four children very comfortably. There is also a queen sleep sofa in the living room if needed. Baby crib onsite for use as well.

A perfect getaway

Upon arrival the house was in immaculate condition, very well appointed, comfy and cozy. The location is perfect for walking to the beach or bay, to restaurants, and to recreational activities. There's excellent ice cream right across the street! This house was the perfect "home away from home" and my husband and I hope to return someday for another relaxing vacation.

Perfect Location and Comfy Rental

First of all... working with the owner, Deidre, was such a pleasure.. she made sure we were all settled in and comfortable ( I really appreciate that) The House is Large and Comfortable. 3 nice bedrooms, 2 baths upstairs and 1 downstairs-all with showers! The location was perfect. You can walk to everything.. no need to even take your car out! and Barry's "Do me a Flavor" ( a favorite eatery of mine) is across the street.. very nice for women's getaway weekends, large families or anyone really!.

A nice place to stay

We stayed in this lovely home for just four days, but could not be happier with the accommodations and location. The house is lovely and spacious, with a very beachy look and feel to it. The furniture and decor are tasteful and comfortable. We arrived pre-season, and enjoyed the relative quiet (except for Wing Night Wednesday at The Chicken or the Egg)! The house is situated in a nice neighborhood for walking. You can easily walk to the beach and many restaurants and shops in the area. We had one rainy day when we stayed in the house, but it was so comfortable we did not mind. We would be very happy to come back and stay here again.

Very Enjoyable Vacation

The vacation home was very, very nice. The listing was accurate in all respects. The home was very clean and very nicely decorated. The owners were always available to answer any questions and genuinely want people to enjoy their home. They provide many extras such as bicycles, beach chairs,umbrellas, dvds, games and everything you could possibly need for the kitchen. We really liked the location, within walking distance of virtually everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed eating at Barry's, and The Chicken or the Egg (both of which also provide take out). The porch and balconies add a nice touch. We would highly recommend this house to others and would like to stay there again one day.

Beautiful Home, Great Location

We had such a wonderful time during our one week stay at the beach house. Upon arrival, we found the house clean, neat and very roomy. We had seven people in the home for the first 4 days and it never felt crowded. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. You can park your car and walk to everything like shopping, the beach, the bay, the supermarket. It was great! My two teenagers were able to walk everywhere on their own because it was a very safe area. The house also provided EVERYTHING you can possible need so no need to pack a lot! Most importantly, Deirdre and Ken were such a pleasure to work with that they made the whole renting experience very easy and enjoyable!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
