Member of the Idyllwild Chamber of Commerce: The Corner Lodge in Idyllwild is a wonderful spot for our family getaways and for yours too. Over the years, we have gotten to know many of our guests who are now apart of our family. The Corner Lodge is a proud member of the Idyllwild Chamber of Commerce. Recently, The Corner Lodge played host to the January 2009 Chamber mixer where locals and part timers alike...mingled, nibbled on catered food and enjoyed the music of Mr. David Jerome. We invited all our guests to this fun event and were happy to see a few in attendance.

Member of the Idyllwild Art Alliance: The Corner Lodge walls are adorned with photographs, both from a local artist and my husband, Jim. Aside from his full time job of running a company in San Diego, Jim is a hobby photographer. His photographs of the ravaged bark beetle pines are a reminder of mother nature. Art is a wonderful form of expression that is universal. The Idyllwild Art Alliance is dedicated group of individuals who raise funds for the Idyllwild Art School. The annual August Jazz in the Pines is just one of the fund raising events, and if you have not had the opportunity to experience it, you should.

Girls Weekend Was A Blast!

There were 6 of us getting together for a weekend of catching up on girls stuff. Among the fun was horseback riding and lots of laughs. Dinner at Cafe Aroma's was wonderful and hanging out in the yard watching the birds in the trees were only a few of the things that will bring us back to The Corner Lodge. It was a great weekend! Thanks to the owners for a special place.
Owner's Response: After our family purchased The Corner Lodge, my first fun experience was to invite a group of girlfriends to the house and hang out for a weekend. I love it that this guest discovered this type of getaway.

Aside from the wonderful memory setting times with family, there are many other creative opportunities for fun, and just 2 hours from San Diego! The Corner Lodge is waiting to welcome you!!!

Corner Lodge is LOVELY

We have enjoyed many weekends at the corner lodge and the accomodations and setting are prestine. There is a sense of instant calm when you arrive. The pines that embrace and surround the property are gorgeous. Hiking directly from the house or within a short drive to nearby mountain trails is one of my favorite parts. I highly recommend this vacation home! Being a family member of the owners, I can testify that this home is extremely well taken care of offers an experience you will want to return to.

The perfect family

The property description only begins to tell just how nice this place can be for a family.
Look at the pictures and then imagine grandpa reading in front of a roaring fire in that beautiful stone fireplace, son and his wife watching TV in the den, and grandchildren playing pool in the game room.
You could drive hundreds of miles or fly thousands of miles and not reach mountains more beautiful or rugged than those surrounding Idyllwild.

Only 2 hours from San Diego, grandma's and grandpa's can spend quality time with their grandchildren in a family friendly vacation rental that lends itself very well to family holidays, reunions and get togethers.

I have been staying at The Corner Lodge every year for the past 6 years. I can always expect the same clean and in perfect order accomodations. Also, once you stay at The Corner Lodge, you are family and the owners make you feel so welcome. The Corner Lodge is truly our mountain home away from home!
