Just Relaxing......

This was our 3rd stay at Sunset Cottage, my parents along with my sisters and spouses. We love this house. It is extremely clean and love the setting. It was a little cool to sit out on the open deck but the sunroom is wonderful. We love to sit and watch the water and the barges and fishing boats. Plenty of room for everyone and close to some good restaurants if you want to go out. This is the best house around the lakes that we have stayed at. I'm sure we'll make our 4th stay in the fall.

A simply wonderful trip......

What a simply beautiful, restful vacation home. It is extremely well maintained, completely supplied with everything you could want for your kitchen needs. The rooms are HUGE and will accommodate far more than they even suggest. Comfortable. The sun room was by far our favorite, watched many a boat, barge, birds,not to mention just watching the water. We ate every meal out there and also played many a game as well as worked a few of their puzzles. We look forward to bringing our children and grands down to enjoy this some day. Thank you so much for sharing your Lake Barkley Home with us...

This house was absolutely wonderful. We had our family Christmas there and it was perfect. We enjoyed watching and waving at the holiday lit barges that are within a stones throw of the house. It was well stocked and well kept. We put up our Christmas tree out on the glassed in porch and sat out there and played several of the many games that were there. I would recommend this house to anyone and we are looking forward to staying again.

Family reunion

We were 6 senior adults looking for a peaceful location to catch up on family and also do some sightseeing. It worked out perfect. The house was great with room for a least 12. A large kitchen
well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The back porch and deck offered great sunsets after
a full day of activities, one was an afternoon boat ride with flying fish to entertain. There is lots to see and do for every age group.

Another awesome stay at Sunset Cottage!

This was our 2nd trip back to Sunset Cottage for our annual summer vacation and we had an awesome time. The house was perfect for four teenage boys and very relaxing for mom and dad! We hope to make this home our vacation tradition!
