Watch the cruise ships leave from this recently renovated town home that has stunning views of the city and the harbor. The home is centrally located on the North Shore close to Lonsdale Quay Public Market and the sea bus to downtown Vancouver. Stores, restaurants and coffee shops are within walking distance on Lonsdale Avenue. Grouse, Cypress and Seymour Mountains are all within easy reach with their ski hills and abundance of trails for hiking and mountain biking. An open floor plan in this spacious home is perfect for relaxing. The living room has a vaulted ceiling and gas fireplace. The family room has a energy efficient gas fireplace and leads out to the expansive deck, which has a covered eating area.
This home is ideally suited for 2 couples on vacation or a professional couple moving to Vancouver on a employment contract for an extended period of time. The home is fully furnished, just bring your clothes and toothbrush and settle right in. This is a non-snoking property.

The townhome is situated on the beautiful North Shore looking across the harbour at downtown Vancouver from the back of the home and towards the mountains from the front. We love Vancouver and in particular North Vancouver and all that it has to offer. We want our guests to enjoy this lovely area as much as we do.
The townhome is ideal for guests who want to walk, hike the trails in the local mountains, ski or snowboard, sightseeing, bike-riding or just relaxing by the fire with a good book. In summer guests can relax on the deck on the sun loungers, barbecue and dine at the outdoor covered dining area.
Once again, we've really enjoyed the stay at your town home and wish to come back some day.
This was our second stay at the townhouse and as usual we enjoyed it very much.From late afternoons on the spacious sunny deck to the spectacular views of downtown Vancouver's skyline at night from the second floor master bedroom, this home has it all. The owners are very helpful, but respectful of your privacy. We look forward to staying here again, and have recommended it to friends and family.
We just spent a week exploring the Vancouver area, and I'm so glad we stayed here. The neighborhood is very quiet and the coffee shop up the street was a fun way to start our mornings. Margaret and Ed gave us a warm welcome. They were polite and accommodating, and answered our questions about the area. The townhome itself is a great floor plan, and the recently remodeled kitchen and baths are well-done. There was loads of room and storage, we were very comfortable. There didn't seem to be any utensil missing in the kitchen - whatever we needed was there! We loved watching the boats and seaplanes from the master bedroom. Oh - and the entire townhome and deck were spotless. I would definitely recommend this rental.
We didn't have near enough time to do all the activities we wanted, but the location couldn't have been better for easy access to the highway which took us north to Squamish and Whistler, local biking at Mt. Fromme, and everything Lonsdale Avenue has to offer, including the Quay Market and Seabus. Not knowing much about the city before we arrived, we were really pleased with how easy North Vancouver is to get around.
This house in Vancouver provided the perfect location for our family to explore the city. For our family of four it was very spacious, very well equipped and has some excellent views of the harbour (where we were able to see the fireworks in English Bay on a couple of nights).
We didn't know much of the geography of the city when we arrived, but North Vancouver really suited us: a quiet suburban neighbourhood with easy access to shops and cafes; good public transport (bus and seabus); and a great place to escape to after a busy day in the downtown areas. We tended to use our car to travel a bit further afield, but being in North Van meant we were that bit closer to Lonsdale Quay, Grouse Mountain, the suspension bridges etc. Stanley Park, Downtown, Granville Island, etc were 10+ minutes drive.
Margaret was extremely helpful, just the right level of contact with an owner who lives next door. We would definitely recommend the house and if we were ever fortunate to have the chance to move to Vancouver we could imagine living the lifestyle offered by the house and North Vancouver. A great experience of a great city.
The property was spacious and comfortable, even larger than pictured in photos. Well appointed with coffee maker and kettle etc. The owner, Margaret was very helpful with info on the seabus, skytrain and Canada line to airport. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends as well. North Vancouver is a great place to stay. We didn't want to leave & can't wait to come back!
It's definately a home away from home! On arrival Margaret greeted us and showed us around the home. We were there from April 29 to May 3, 2011. The townhouse was very clean, well maintained and accurately reflected the listing. The location worked out great for us with the Lonsdale Market and a great park for our grandkids in walking distance. We loved the deck where we had a family BBQ one night. We would definately stay in this home again and would highly recommend this place!

Situated in North Vancouver 7 blocks from the harbour. Vancouver has it all, the mild climate year round allows you to ski or snowboard on the local mountains in the morning, golf or go sailing in the afternoon and in the evening unwind at the many and varied restaurants, night clubs, bars, theaters and concerts. In fact you can do just about anything that a big city like beautiful Vancouver has to offer.
