Boot Key Paradise

Boot Key Retreat was a fabulous rental. It was clea, well furnished & had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location for our fishing holiday was fantastic. We were in a sheltered area at the end of a canal with fuel docks just around the corner. Brilliant access to both Ocean & Gulf. We had a lovely Manatee vist our dock early one morning...a fantastic sight for my elderly father-in-law who had never seen one....he has now!
The pool was superb and the Kayaks were an added bonus as we had never tried them before. Doug & Donna the caretakers were friendly & most helpful. I would not hesitate to reccommend Boot Key retreat to anyone looking for a family holiday or ultimate fishing experience.

Wonderful Time

and exactly as presented. We had a great "reunion" of family and friends to relax and get to know the area. The homeowner and property caretakers are great and easy to work with. Everything you see and more are included to make your stay a "home away from home" experience. Would we return? In a heart beat! Thank You for sharing this property in a great location. (Oh, and IF you prefer NOT to drive, the local taxi is $5.00 anywhwere in Marathon and will pick you up in 5 minutes.)

A Great Vacation

We spent Christmas week at this home with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons. It was clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed. We found many attractions close by including the Turtle Hospital and the Dolphin Research Center. We even had an encounter with a mama manatee and her baby via the sea kayaks that were included with the home! It was quiet, secluded and yet close to shopping and restaurants. A+

We had a wonderful time in Marathon. The house was adorable and it surpassed all our expectations. It was perfect for our family who enjoyed the fishing, kayaks, snorkeling, and swimming in the pool. It was centrally located where you can go to Key West for a day and return home and having Publix two or three blocks away was nice. Donna and her husband met us the day we arrived and were so pleasant and helpful. All in all, we had a great time and cannot wait until we return. I have told my friends about this rental and highly recommend it to anyone.

BEST KEPT SECRET IN THE KEYS (until now)

WHAT A GREAT VACATION HOME! Comfortably accommodated two families (4 adults & 4 children). Everything you'll need is there. Property was clean and well maintained with newer appliances. Large kitchen & dining area with plenty of seating. Cozy living room (for those rare times when you choose to be indoors). Overall exceptional value.

Incredible access to both Atlantic and Gulf. Just minutes from 7 Mile Bridge. Most folks will undoubtedly want to fish offshore, but don't pass up the backwaters of Sister Creek. We got into some nice redfish feeding with the afternoon tide. Dock your own boat or rental right at the house. Fish cleaning table and hose are conveniently located at the dock.

Kids loved the pool and kayaks! Even got to kayak along with a mother and juvenile manatees.

Access to other islands and beaches was excellent. Key West, Bahia Honda State Park and Islamorada were just a short drive away. Island Fish Co. Restaurant and Sunset Grille & Raw Bar are only minutes from the house.

Although we are sometimes apprehensive about dealing with private owners, we found this owner to be friendly, reasonable and accommodating. Owner promptly returned all of our emails and phone inquiries.

We will certainly recommend this property to friends visiting the Keys.
