BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED OCEANVIEW BEACH COTTAGE

magical cottages were better than expected. My friend and I rented both of the cottages and stayed for a week with six kids and three dogs. The cottages worked perfect due to the completely enclosed, multi level patio decks, and large beach property. The kids and dogs were safe and able to play outdoors when we were not at the beach. The washer and dryer was also a plus. The cottages have everything supplied in them..just like home. From sand toys to beach towels, all you need is your clothes. Victoria beach is perfect for kids , quiet, and has tide pools for exploring. Shelley is great. She is easy to get a hold of and very helpful. The cottages are very well priced for what you get. We had a wonderful vacation! Thank you shelley for the pleasant, no hassell experience!

We stayed in the Secret Garden cottage which is right across from Victoria Beach which is private and beautiful; we were able to bring our dog on the beach during the day since it was fall season and the time restrictions are lifted. The owner Shelley welcomed our doggie by leaving a fresh bowl of water on the deck and a nice bottle of wine for us! The deck overlooked the ocean and we spent 4 of our 7 nights grilling on the little weber and enjoying the views and relaxing. Shelley explained to us there is traffic noice since the cottage is facing the Coast Highway but we found that after 9 pm it quited and we slept peacefully. Have to mention the bed is a queen but it is tucked close to the wall on one side which makes it cozy. The description of the kitchens is gourmet and I would say that the kitchen is very charming, clean and cottage like with a nice window and windowed door leading to the outside. The bathroom also has a nice windowed door to the outside and has lots of shelves and towel.robe hooks. There is good used of space and good closet space; lots of windows to let in the light and double french door in the bedroom. All is as described except there was no mention of the stairs; one section from the street to a landing then a bit steeper set to the front porch Not a problem for us or for most but a heads up if you need ADA access. Off street parking was a HUGE plus and there is room for an SUV or two smaller cars. Laundry room below the main floor is very convenient. Best restaurant is right below and in view Of course the village is less than two miles away for more amazing choices. If you are looking for a real California vintage coastal cottage to nestle in this is for you. I am a third generation native Californian and I treasure the simplicity of those times. My grandmother had a wonderful cottage in No Cal on the coast and you can't replicate the charm by staying at a Ritz Carlton or Montage. They're all the same: this is unique. Enjoy!!

The cottage has everything we need to have a great vacation..our own space,comfy bed,kitchen and plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for those long beach days..Shelley provides alot of extras with the stay..it is always clean and has beautiful fresh flowers/wine when we arrive. Which is great since we have been on such a long journey..So all we do when we get there is move in and enjoy
We found a great delivery pizza place called Zpizza love it..very fresh
also there is an old italian place that you can get to by using the free trolley It is just up the road..spectacular pasta!! Plus don't miss Woo Hoo Fish tacos..awesome
The beach is just a few steps away..Victoria beach is a very relaxing stretch and we always see a seal or dolphin playing around..that is so neat.
Loved the Sawdust art festival and the quaint downtown merchants..give them some love while you vist.
I recommend this cottage to all of my customers and friends it is a must stay!
