Welcome to Sparks! Sparks is located approximately 10 minutes to downtown Reno. Our loft is perfect for vacationers and the business executive. For those who don't want to stay near downtown Reno and Sparks, this is the place for you. Quiet and peaceful. Did I mention the views of the Sierra Nevada mountains? Breathtaking. You'll find two restaurants, a coffee house, and a pet store on site. You can walk, jog, even bike around the marina and enjoy the park-like setting. Our loft is located right by the docks. The local sailing club is on hand to give lessons. Don't forget to bring your fishing pole. There's also swimming, beach volleyball, and a kid park. You'll also find designated BBQ areas. Dogs are welcome but we ask that you wipe them down thoroughly before entering the loft. They to will have fun swimming at the dog park. For those who love summer time fun, the Wild Island water and min golf is just minutes away. We are right next to the Legends at the Marina (dining & shop)

The Legends at the Marina is now open. It has lots of outlet stores and restuarants all within walking distance of the Marina. It is wonderful for all types of shopping.

More Details:: And for the adults, there's even a casino on the west side of the marina. We can also assist you in golf and ski packages. Just opened Legends At The Sparks Marina, including Scheel's (all sports store) and Target. More to open within 2009 and all within walking distance. Our loft is tastefully decorated. There is a queen bed and a queen sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle all your needs and has bar style seating for four. We have a crib, toddler cot and booster available upon request.

Ski: We have many World Class Ski Resorts just 30 minutes away. We can offer specials to Squaw Valley, Northstar at Tahoe, Sugar Bowl, Alpine Meadows and many more. For more information please call.

Very nice place to stay

We stayed there with our pooch. It was very quiet. The place was very nice and comfy. Wi-fi was great. There are two restaurants downstairs that allow dogs on the patio area, which was great for us because we can't leave our doggy by himself. The place was very clean, which is important to us. The owner is very responsive to questions.

This is a very short drive to John Ascuaga's Nugget, where I saw 3 concerts.

The marina is very nice with a LONG walking path for people and dogs.

There is a large shopping center within walking distance.

Downsides for us was relative to home, it took more effort to take our pooch out for potty breaks. And if it's really hot, watch your dog's feet on the painted outer walkway. And there are flying bugs due to the marina/water, which is probably normal, but we weren't used it.

We hope to stay again if we go to Sparks, NV again.
