Photos and Description of the Kihei vacation condo rental 1 bedroom, 1 Full bathroom, sleeps 4-5

The Kihei Kai Nani is a resort complex set on six acres of tropical gardens. It's located on the south side of Maui, about 20 minutes from the airport and right nextdoor to Wailea. The Kihei Kai Nani is located directly across the street from Kamaloe Beach II! Snorkel, surf, or lay on the beach. Wonderful shops, great restaurants, and the best shave ice on the island, all steps away! No need to drive!!! Our 'tiki hut' is a ground floor corner unit for non-smokers, with easy access to both the front door, and the lanai in back. It's also the closest condo to the handi-cap parking. There is a lovely well maintained lawn area which surrounds the west side of our condo and follows around the back as an addition to our lanai. The 'tiki hut' is among the few condos in the Kihei Kai Nani Resort with extra windows! The additional windows look through tropical foliage, creating unusual privacy.

    * Reservations require a $200 deposit to hold your dates.
    * You may cancel for a full refund up to 60 days prior to arrival. Within the 60 days of arrival, we will make every effort to re-book your canceled dates and in that event, send you a full refund.
  • A refundable Security/Damage deposit of $200 is required by all reservations.
    Any missing or damage to the property or it's contents will be deducted from this deposit.

Enjoy gentle trade winds as they fill the condo with the smell of plumeria and the songs of the island birds, or just enjoy the garden and natural light while you cool down with the air conditioning and beautiful ceiling fans. Located in Building Five. The most popular building in the complex! Why?... It is all about the location. Building Five is set back from the noisy road, has the most private lanais(patios), is the closest to the pool, the office and wonderful staff, and the laundry facility (no need to run a hot dryer in your condominium!). Added Bonus: Resort stainless steel BBQ only 10 feet to the left of our lanai!! Have a Hawaiian BBQ every night-so easy and affordable!

There are many wonderful things said about our condo, but the #1 comment we always hear about is our exceptional location! We have recently remodeled, upgraded, and decorated, and continue to implement ideas we receive from our fantastic guests to make your tropical vacation convenient and care free. By popular request we just added a High-Speed DSL internet connection. We have filled our condo with real tikis carved for our condominium, by a Master Hawaiian Carver. They bring protection, good health, and good fortune for us, and all who stay as our guests.

We have an amazing 'keyless' entry system! No lockbox to struggle with. No keys to keep track of or lose in the sand! Each guest receives their own personal code e-mailed to them 2-weeks before their trip. The code is only valid for the dates of your trip. This is the same system used in hospitals and post offices- even the Pentagon! It has the highest level of security and yet is fun and easy...kids love it! Every guest who has stayed at our condo since we installed this system has contacted us to let us know how much they love it! Come and feel the Aloha in our 'Tiki Hut.' Thank you for a great vacation. We had a wonderful time in Maui and the condo was exactly what we needed. The location was perfect for us since we traveled with our 2 1/2 year old son. The beach was beautiful and right across the street, so very convenient if we had to run back for anything. There was lots of shopping and restaurants close by. The keyless entry was very nice to have.

Aloha and Mahalo for our stay in your "Tiki Hut". this was our second stay with you and we definitely had a wonderful time. We hated to leave. The condo was perfect. We actually spent a bit more time IN the condo then we wanted to considering all the wind and rain that we experienced. Having such a nice place to call "home" made our stay enjoyable. Mahalo!

Mahalo for a good week at the Tiki Hut in late October (despite earthquakes, flooding, and assorted monkey wrenches thrown by Mother Nature). We especially appreciated the unit's proximity to the pool and its well-equipped kitchen, including a plethora of spices and condiments. We had no children with us, but if we had, we know they and their parents would have greatly appreciated all the gear and entertainment thoughtfully provided for them. Also liked the convenience of walking to the beach and many restaurants. Sherri's communication with us was always timely and friendly. We would certainly recommend the Tiki Hut to anyone seeking a simple, quiet and well-priced home base in Kihei.

My husband and I stayed in the Tiki Hut Feb 17-24. What a wonderful time to be in Maui, especially Kiehi. We saw many, many whales from the shore and during a whale watching cruise. We loved the location of the Tiki Hut! We went to kam II beach (right across the street) at least once a day. We also enjoyed walking the sandy path from kam II to kam I at the night time. Our second favorite beach was Big Beach! We also enjoyed the location of the condo for the great restaurants all within walking distance. The condo is also stocked wtih beach chairs and beach towels plus a VCR, DVD player and a gas grill right by the lanai. The Tiki Hut became our "home" while in Maui. Anyhow overall the place was great, if considering this place go for it, you will have a great time!
