Complete kitchen makes this unit ideal for long term visits, or weekend retreats. The 3.5 mile long beach has firepits, picnic areas, and is one of the top surfing spots in San Diego County. Short walk to the famous Oceanside pier, restaurants, shops and the surf museum. Short drive south to downtown San Diego, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, La Jolla, Del Mar Racetrack, and a 45 minute drive to Baja Mexico. 45 minute drive north to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm.

We really enjoyed staying in this condo. It is very clean and has all the amenities you could ask for. The beach is directly across the street, the view was incredible. The beach is perfect for the kids to play at, because the water stays shallow for several hundred feet out. There are numerous restaurants in the harbor to choose from. A perfect getaway for the family! We'll definitely be back next year!

Oceanside Construction Zone

This is a great location with a view and it is nicely appointed. During our stay there was construction going on all around us and it was impossible to sleep-in beyond 7:00am or enjoy a little nap during the day after time at the beach which is right across the street. The construction is on-going, they are building a bridge and the complete date is unknown. Great for young kids if they are into bulldozers.

The dredging is done annually and there was no attempt by management or the owner to communicate this or to compensate us for the inconvenience of having our vacation (a rare event in our lives) spoiled by their lack of communication or willingness to provide customer satisfaction. The owner did offer a free night if we return for another stay. Fair warning.
Owner's Response: Dear Future Rentors,
The Oceanside Harbor bridge construction will be completed by October 2008. I have been informed by the harbor district that the bulk of the noisy construction is over. Unfortunately, I was unaware of a 2nd phase of construction that took place during a recent visit. To compensate the rentors for their inconvenience, I have offered a free night for a future stay. My place has been over 80% booked since January 2008 and this is the only complaint that I have received. Perhaps just bad timing.

Really enjoyed my stay here in June. The condo was immaculate and so was the view. Close to everything I wanted to do. Many great restuarants within 10 minute drive , try the Cuban place downtown.
