Enjoy the beautiful North Shore of Kauai at Alii Kai Condominium A ground floor, corner unit sitting on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In the winter be mesmerized by 15 to 25 foot waves. Whales cavorting in the ocean and albatrosses gliding pass your windows. In the summer, enjoy snorkeling below the condominium. Watch the porpoises (dolphins) playing in the ocean and the turtles cavorting in the waves. This is a peaceful, quiet Hawaiian-style condominium with the rooms looking out onto the ocean and the cool tradewinds wafting through the unit. The sunrises can be spectacular. Our 'Slice of Paradise' is a very lovely, quiet spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There is a fabulous lava tube just below which you can walk thru and many times see turtles at the other end. Wear a swimsuit for this as you need to enter the water to reach the beach in front of the lava tube. A wonderful adventure. Monk seals may also be found down here on the lava soaking up the rays of the sun.

My home away from home.

I travel to Kauai nearly every year. I've stayed on the north, east, south and west sides and have found no place that even compares to this unit at Alii Kai. In my opinion, it is the best value, best view and best location on the island. It is always super clean and welcoming when I first walk into the door. Often there is a freshly baked loaf of fruit bread or a basket of home grown avocados waiting when I get there. There are ocean views from every window and it is so quiet you will think no one else is within miles. It is high on the edge of a bluff so you can sit on the lanai and watch an albatross soar by or watch whales in season. You can see for miles. There are many nice eating places in an easy distance or you can cook in with the fully equipped kitchen. The most beautiful beaches on the island are minutes away. The closets are stocked with things you might want to use such as beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling equipment etc. There is a nice little library of books to choose from. No amenity has been forgotten. I would recommend this unit to anyone, young or old. The beds are very comfortable. If you give it a try, you'll go back time and time again.

Wonderful vacation at Slice of Paradise

We have had 2 extended stays at Slice of Paradise and have plans for future visits. Words cannot describe the beauty of this condo. Every room has views of the ocean. The sounds of the crashing waves lull you to sleep every night. In addition to the ocean, there are whales, dolphins and albatross all entertaining us on a regular basis.

The condo is clean, well equiped and maintained. Any requests we have had for the owner have been met in a very rapid and timely manner. The owner treats you like a member of her family and you feel like a treasurered guest in her home.

We would highly recommend Slice of Paradise to anyone who is looking for relaxing fun time on the beautiful island of Kauai.

Within walking distance there is a 27 hole golf course, shopping center, restaurants and library. Less than five minutes by car is beautiful Hanalei Bay to the west and Annini Beach to the east. Both are tropical beaches, beautiful and safe for swimming and relaxing. In Hanalei there are numerous restaurants and shops.
