The Cottage is located on quiet Goshorn Lake between the resort town of Saugatuck, Michigan and

the Tulip city of Holland, Michigan. Swimming, boating, (paddle boat), fishing and private dock are yours

to enjoy.

Nearest Airport : Grand Rapids, Mich. Airport at 35 Miles
Nearest Beach : beach at 3 Miles
Car: necessary

There are Dune Rides nearby. The Wooden Shoe Factory is in Holland and the Big Windmill is on Windmill

Island in Holland. There are also wonderful beaches in both Saugatuck and Holland. The Red Barn and

the Mason Street Theater have live performances in the summer.

We had such a wonderful time in this clean comfortable little cottage! The owners live close by and were so helpful and friendly and great enjoyment to talk to!! There was plenty of room for our two grandchildren to come and "hang out" with us; fish, explore and sit on deck. We will enjoy this again in the future....Thanks Mr. Pat and Mrs. Carol!!!!

Our Mom Loved This Place

My sister and I brought our mom their for 5 days. It was wonderful eating & playing cards on the deck while watching the woodpeckers feed their babies. And other birds. Very peaceful and relaxing. Very clean. We also caught a few pan fish off the dock. View of the lake is blocked but still a wonderful setting. Would go back.

My family of 4 (kids 5 and 8) stayed in the cottage for our family vacation. We had a great time fishing on the lake, the kids were able to catch plenty of bluegill and even a few bass to keep them entertained. Pat and Carol were very helpful when needed. We were well within easy travel distances of beaches in Saugatuck, Holland, and South Haven and all the shopping and fun we could handle. Only minor issue was hot water for showers etc. Typically we would be able to take one shower or bath then have to wait to take another to let the water heat up again. That said the shower was lovely, great water pressure so nothing to really worry about. Thanks to Pat and Carol for a nice trip. We enjoyed it.

Just a short walk (across the lawn) to the lake. The hosts (Pat and Carol) were very friendly and made us feel at home. The cottage is excellent and very clean. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone who wants a quiet family friendly place that is on Goshorn lake.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
