CABIN ON YELLOWSTONE RIVER JUST OUTSIDE YELLOWSTONE NAT'L PARK

Gardiner Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 8)

Our cabin is located on the Yellowstone River at the southern end of Paradise Valley, just 4 miles north of Gardiner and the original entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Whether you are coming to visit the park, sample the blue ribbon trout fishing or to enjoy the numerous year round outdoor activities the area has to offer; this location is ideal for you.

Our cabin comes with all of the amenities you would expect to make your stay comfortable. Your covered outdoor porch overlooks the Yellowstone River with spectacular views of the park and Electric Peak. Each bedroom can accommodate up to 4 people, has it's own full bathroom and satellite TV. When you want to kick back in the evening, enjoy the living room's reclining furniture, satellite TV and Franklin stove. The cook will not be disappointed. The kitchen is equipped with a water filtering and ice making refrigerator, quality appliances and cookware and even a variety of spices. A washer and dryer along with all linens and towels for bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are also provided.

The area abounds with year round outdoor activities. Winter offers the solitude of snowshoeing, back country and cross country skiing both in the park and in the surrounding National Forest. Spring brings a special treat for bicyclists. While the northern road from Gardiner to Cooke City remains open year round, the remainder of the park is limited to bicycle traffic only for a period in the month of April. As winter run off swells the the Yellowstone River, rafting and kayaking take center stage. Summer offers park visits, fishing and all of the other outdoor activities too numerous to list. Fall wraps up the year with smaller crowds in the park, crisp fresh air, hunting and great fishing.

The Yellowstone Association Institue offers year round classes and information is available on their web site.

Ron and Kierin,
Thank you so much for providing such a nice place to stay during our visit to Yellowstone Park. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and most of the drive (except for the hail storm we had to drive through)! We saw grizzly and black bears, bison, elk and looked hard for moose:(
God bless!

Ron and Kierin,
Thank you so much for a great cabin. We had a wonderful first trip in Montana and Yellowstone Park...coming all the way from Michigan. The house you have was awesome and very comfortable for us (quality family time spent). We could never dream of having the mountains be in our backyard. The amenities provided were very thoughtful and apt for all of our needs. On the whole we all had a wonderful vacation.
Thank you!

Ron and Kierin,
Bonzai! After an epic 4 hour drive from Jackson, WY this cabin was the perfect place to stay. Wear sunscreen young gents and gals. We were pleased that there is no McDonalds anywhere near here. We enjoyed rafting with Paradise Adventure Co. We did the full day tour. Lots of bison in Lamar Valley. Definitely get to Boiling River early in the morning...it is just about 3 miles into the Park.

What a wonderful trip this was! It all started with your cabin being so homey and a great location! Most of our time here was spent travelling around Yellowstone Park and during our "safaris" we saw countless bison, elk and antelope, 1 moose, 4 wolves, 14 big horn sheep, 8 black bears, 4 grizzly bears and no mountain lions. On Wednesday we went white water rafting with Yellowstone Rafting Co. Our guide Carter was really fun! Afterward we went to the Iron Horse Bar and Grille and got Huckleberry Margaritas..which we highly recommend. Overall this trip was wonderful and we will never forget our experience!

Epic Trip!

Ron and Kierin,
Epic trip! Our first time to Montana and we loved it! Montana Whitewater Rafting Co was so much fun. Tony went fly fishing with Wilson from Parks Fly Shop in Gardiner and came home with some great stories. We loved watching the Robins keeping an eye on their nest all week. Tony caught his first fish (fly fishing) right outside the cabin. We had such a great week and having a great place to stay made it even better!
