Located in a beautiful old village. Out side, in the center of the U shaped farm, a green area is there for the kids to play. In car 30 minutes from Paris, 15 mn from Disney, 2 minutes (2 kilometre) from a the water center Jabline (Supervised swimming in a man made lake (with sand!), walk, Arc, fishing, plays for children, football on artificial grass, table tennis, Picnic, nautical ski-lift, pedal boats, windsurf, boat, catamaran, nautical toboggan, canoe-kayak, horseback ridding (horse and pony), 8 courts of tennis, VTT, miniature golf).

Old Village with a lot of character in the country side. It is hard to imagine that Paris is only 30km away.

Lovely house, near Disney and lakes

The house is large with an open plan diner/sitting room/ kitchen - great for kids. The outdoor space isn't really suitable for children to play as it's not well fenced off and is close to the road. The owners sister lives is the adjacent property overlooking the shared garden but I have to say they left us to our own devices and we did not feel pryed upon! Disney is very close and access is via non busy roads (none of the large motorways required!). A real treat for us were the lakes and playgrounds just down the road, made it really feel like a holiday even on non Disney days. The village isn't a tourist village - no real bars or eateries other than for the very locals. Friendly and long opening hours bakery just at the bottom of the road though. Lots of supermarkets within easy reach. Route into Paris was busy but we were surprisingly close to drive to the outskirts and get the Metro in (free parking at Chateau). Lastly worth mentioning is that it's ideal for 2 families holidaying together - upstairs 3 beds and shower room/ toilet. Downstairs 2 beds and bathroom. A great base.

Nice farm house, poor owner

First, the good news; the house was fairly clean, tidy and easily accessible. The local residents were very friendly and helpful. Access to Disneyland was great, as it was a short drive away.

Now the bad news; despite several emails, the owner have failed to return my deposit, and is no longer even returning my emails.

This is a shame, as we would definitely have returned again next year. This has damaged my enjoyment of the vacation, and put me off visiting France again.

Great property near Disney & Paris

Great location for visiting Paris and Disneyland and a great place to stay for families with young children. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to return one day soon.
