Our charming Cape Cod style beach home is located just six houses back from Ferry Beach on the Atlantic Ocean- only a 2 minute walk down the street to the ocean and over 2 blocks where you can step onto Maine's famous 7 miles of sandy beach with views of Wood Island Lighthouse and coastal islands. Our Cape home is bright, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The first floor has hardwood floors throughout with a living room and fully equipped New England kitchen and dining area. Through the atrium doors off the kitchen there is a large deck to the back yard with picnic furniture, gas grill and a unique free-standing brick fireplace. There are 4 spacious bedrooms that sleep 10 comfortably, with ceiling fans and cable TV, and 2.5 new bathrooms. The finished basement provides additional bonus space for a great separate play area for children, and a separate laundry area with washer and dryer. We provide telephone, cable TV, CD, DVD and free Wireless Broadband Internet access.

Our Cape house is just steps to the ocean and Maine's famous 7 miles of sandy beach. There is a short walk to historic Camp Ellis, where the Saco River meets the ocean- a quaint fishing harbor with a mile long jetty where you will find a few restaurants, kayak rentals, whale watching tour boats and a public boat launch. We are across the road from Ferry Beach State Park with ponds and trails for walking, running or biking. We are three miles south of Old Orchard Beach with amusements and gift shops; 6 miles to Funtown, a theme park and water park; and 10 minutes to major supermarkets. Heading north about 20 miles is the city of Portland followed by Freeport, with its outlet shopping and LL Bean home store. A 30 minute drive south is the fabulous outlet shopping in Kittery with Kennebunkport and Ogunquit as side trips. The towns of Saco and Biddeford have grocery and convenience stores, and unique shops just a few minutes from the house. Golf and tennis are also available nearby.

Great family getaway for a beach vacation.Great house everthing you need for comfort. Quiet area just the smell of the Ocean.Walk to Camp Elise or Ferry beach for Ice Cream. Just Love Maine!! Chris and Peter

This home is a wonderful place to stay. It offers every amenity you can think of. It is super clean and spacious. We enjoyed it very much and will return! You can walk to the beach, little town with restaurants and playgrounds. This isn't your normal beach rental-it is a very nice place and much better than any hotel. My kids loved the toys and yard and i loved all the space!
