Great Summer Rental in Scarborough Beach, Narragansett, RI - Leave the car in the driveway. You only have a five minute walk to the beach. The cottage is a 3 bedroom, one bathroom house with a nicely appointed kitchen and great up to date furnishings. New couch, love seat and all mattresses as of 2009. The beach cottage has an outdoor deck and gas grill for great summer meals. Cable and high speed internet access is included. Plenty of off street parking for your visitors. We personally clean the entire house from top to bottom each May and between each vacationer during the summer to ensure the cleanest house possible. Many repeat vacationers bring their extended family. Don't forget the family pet - they are welcome with some minor conditions. Check out the great reviews we received from past vacationers. Scarborough Beach offers great boogie-boarding and skim-boarding, body surfing, fishing or just relaxing in the sun. After the beach drive to one of many clam shacks for some local treats. Just three miles away are batting cages, mini-golf, go-carts, and in-line skating. Visit the Port of Gallalie - it's a real working seaport. Get fish right from the boats. The Scarborough Beach area is relatively flat for good walking, bicycles or jogging. When dinner time roles around there are lots of restaurants around-from fancy to family style. A quick 30 minute drive to historic Newport or a 45 minute drive to Foxwoods Casino, Mohangan Sun Casino or Mystic Village seaport.

  • Summer 2010 Season Off Peak Rate
  • This property is one half of a duplex. The other half is a 2 bedroom side that is also available for rent. The decor and condition of this unit is equal to the three bedroom side. Many families rent both side and invite their extended families on vacation. The in-laws can visit you and your family but retreat to the other separate unit at the end of the day. Please contact me for more details.
  • We ask that at the end of your stay, please leave the house as clean as you received it. If you would like us to arrange for someone else to clean, there will be an additional charge of $75.00.

    We will consider small/medium sized dogs on a case by case basis. Please e-mail me to discuss. An extra $100 will be added to the required security deposit for the dog. We do not charge an extra fee for dogs. This will save you a weekly boarding charge of over $350.

  • This bathroom is small but it does the trick. We personally clean the entire house before each guest arrives. We do not have a cleaning services because we feel that we do a much better job at cleaning. You will see our personal touches throughout the house.

  • Each Bedroom is nicely appointed with a double bed (new mattresses as of 2009), dresser, night stand, lamp and a individual room fan. All guests need to bring their personal linens and beach gear. Blankets and pillows are provided if you get cold at night from the sea breezes. There is a local company that provides linens and beach gear rentals at very reasonable rates. We can give you their information if you are interested. Excellent location, very well maintained

Location: just a 5-10 minute walk to Scarborough beach. The house is on a dead-end street, which is nice because you won't get a lot of traffic driving by the house (at least on the "B" side of the duplex). Plenty of parking space for multiple cars.

Amenities: Washer and dryer! What a life-saver! Everything worked well. There are a lot of nice sea-side decorations in the house that give it a warm, pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of bedroom space, closet space, cabinets. Stocked with lots of cooking things - utensils, spices, cookware.

Pets: My dog thoroughly enjoyed her stay as well!

Very good communication with the owners, both before and during the vacation. No problems at all with the security deposit, payments, entry/exit. Everything went great!

Overall a great vacation house. We will definitely rent here again when the opportunity arises.

This is an awesome duplex house! Easy walk to Scarbough (the best beach in RI in our opinion) My sister stayed next door in the 2 bedroom side and it was great that our families were so close! This house has everything you need for a great summer vacation! It is absolutely the CLEANIEST house we have ever rented (greatly appreciated too!). I would highly recommend it! Just wish it had an outside shower for after the beach! Thanks Al & Christine!

We have been going to the Narragansett area for the last 30 years and this is one of the nicest, cleanest houses we have stayed in.
The location was great, Scarborough is our favorite beach so I was happy we could walk there.
Communication with the owners was quick and easy. I would recommend this rental any time.
We had great weather and I was sad to have to go home!!!!!
