Loiza Vacation Rental villa

Very well maintained resort. The property was clean and well groomed. We traveled in a lull time, and not many residents, so it was almost like having the place to ourselves. Nice beach entry, and facilities to rinse off after you are done.

The owner came to the airport and escorted us right to the property, can't get much better service than that!

Plenty of room in the spacious 3 bedroom unit, and a fully functional kitchen, and two baths were plenty for everyone to clean up. Air conditions in bedrooms kept it cool when the breezes were not enough. We had an extra bonus in stay on third floor, as the roof was completly finished with tile and paint and was a nice place to lay out and watch the stars at nightime. A couple of pools and a shallower childrens pool were available if you have children. Also, though we did not use it there was an exercise facility on location, and the owner dropped off some tennis balls and had racquets available.

Location - Loiza did not have much to do, and seemed to close down early, however, with not much traffic and the central location, it was easy to drive to the Rainforest, San Juan, or Fajardo (Where you can catch Ferry to Vieques and Culebra Islands), all within a 30 min drive or so.

I recommend bringing some type of GPS if you plan to do much driving around, as some of the roads in Puerto Rico are not well marked, but every road that we went on was well maintained and very smooth.
