Oceanfront Villa on the Adventurous Tropical Island of Eleuthera

This was the best most relaxing vacation we have ever had. No children just the 2 of us and the beach in our back yard. Can't say enough about this place in paradise but you have to go and look for yourself. We aren't ones to travel but it was worth getting on a plane (that were not nuts about) and staying a week. We found beaches that are breathtaking and the pictures don't give it justice. It is remarkable in the evening (sunset)and when you get up in the morning with the doors wide open at 6am and you don't even get a chill at all in March tells you something when you come from 15 degree weather. Having to go home to that is a depressing thought. One experience we had was looking for the tip of the island where the cruise ships come in and dock. We never did find it but we found a beach in who knows where. I was looking for the wild boars to come out of the weeds thats how it looked to me and we just laughed at each other. (of course they don't have any there) There is no way to get lost its only 1 1/2 miles wide at the largest point. Another place was the glass bridge where you can see both waters on each side. One side was as calm and smooth as glass while the other was so windy and choppy when you took a picture it was so neat. Just being able to go back and make your own meals there was nice too because we aren't ones to eat out alot. We took all of our meat frozen on the plane, coffee, crackers and snacks that we enjoy because you know what you like and things are more expensive there. We finally found a beach called Twin Beach and we would have been there everyday if we'd found it sooner. Snorkling we never tried till we went there and it is like a whole different world. Beautiful can't really put it into words. Never saw a person on the beach while we were there. We had a fishing pole and finally caught something after 3 days. We watched kids one day with no pole just line pulling them in left and right.. We were deffinetly doing something wrong. (using a pole) Can't say enough about this place but would love to go back someday and spend another week or 2. It's on the come back list.
