AFFORDABLE LUXURY: THE MOST FABULOUS VIEWS IN TAOS, NEW MEXICO

Excellent stay-place for Ski Valley days; early morning view of Sangre de Christo Mountains (Wheeler Peak, Taos Peak, and more) is hard to tear oneself away from. Hosts were responsive when asked for assistance. This house is north of Taos a reasonable distance, in sagebrush country. To east are the mountains; to south and southeast is City of Taos and Ranchos de Taos; to east is the Rio Grande Gorge and dramatic crossing bridge; to northwest is a BLM hot spring, and to north is the road to Colorado and San Luis Valley, and to Red River, New Mexico. My family of 4 was comfortable with 2 bedrooms, bathroom was clean and kitchen fully equipped. Unseasonably cold weather when we were there, but hot tub in back yard was still wonderful. Wide open evening view, in New Mexico, under the stars is an unforgettable experience. I received no favors for writing this, I just really liked it.

I'm not even sure where to really start. I second most of what has already been said here. This place is clean, everything works, not one problem with getting in or out. I've had a VRBO in the past where this wasn't the case, not with this one. Communication with Mary and Maggie is very easy and they are easy going as well. You will get spoiled at this place, especially based on the price, I really just can't believe it compared to almost every other place in the Taos area. Hot tub is great, stars are bright, it's quiet, every thing you could want for a recipe for relaxation. We went skiing at Taos Ski Valley 3 days with our kids, it was great to get back here and lounge around. Living room has Direct TV and wifi works pretty much through out the house. The TV in the picture has been upgraded too, I'm guessing about a 40" Samsung flat screen, there is a dvd payer but not blue ray if you need that. The hot water is hot, not warm, went you want hot it delivers. Washer and dryer inside work equally as well. It's always nice to head home with a bags packed full of clean clothes.

Bottom line...Beautiful views. Close to skiing and town and far enough out so you don't have to deal with a bunch of screaming kids like at those "resort" condos. This place is listed as pet friendly, we have cats but they do not travel. There is absolutely no smell or sign of animals of any kind in the house. Beds comfortable as is house temperature. I usually find negatives with every thing, it's in my nature. Not here, not this time. Thanks for the wonderful time in New Mexico.

We love the peace and quiet we have found in this beautiful New Mexico location. The house is lovely, beautifully decorated, very clean, very comfortable. (Clean is high on my list of importance.) Sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous.

Being outside Taos, but so close seems perfect. We enjoyed some meals, sight seeing, and shopping in town...and loved heading to our "home" on the mesa afterwards. We'll go back. Definitely
