This home is directly on Powers Lake in Genoa City, WI just seven miles from the town of Lake Geneva and only a few miles from the Illinois border. Powers Lake is a beautiful spring fed lake, perfect for swimming, boating (sail and motor) and relaxing. The lake has a sand bar on its south end that people gather at during the summer. During the winter the lake has skaters, ice fisherman and snowmobiling. There are local restaurants near the property and a wealth of restaurants in nearby Lake Geneva.
The home is large with exceptional finishes. This home is perfect for a relaxing fun-filled family vacation or for a family reunion. The property is over 300 feet deep with 60 feet of lakefront. You can seat up to 16 for meals in the dining and kitchen areas (8 at main dining table, 4 at kitchen, 4 at fold-out table). During the summer you can seat many more in the screened in porch and on the deck (patio tables and chairs at both). The hot tub/spa is perfect in winter and summer. The separate apartment above one of the two-car garages is perfect for parents or adult kids, or even as a separate space for teens. The apartment has a living room with cable television, one bedroom, a full bath, its own kitchen, including range, cook top, microwave, refrigerator, utensils, etc. You could sleep up to four easily in the two twin beds and inflatable queen sized bed.
Plenty of Room for a Large Family:
The main house has four bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom is large with a lake view. The master bathroom was recently renovated. It has stone tile, a soaking tub, a large shower, and a separate toilet area. The office (on the main level) has a comfortable queen sized pull-out couch. As noted above, you could sleep four in the apartment. Our kids also enjoy sleeping on the reclining chairs in the theater.
