The Traverse City area is quickly becoming known as a great wine region. Located on the 45th parallel, Traverse City is home to vintners who grow grapes and bottle wines on the scenic Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas.

House has 4 bedrooms: 2 queen beds, 4 twin beds and crib. 2 family rooms: one has natural fireplace, TV, slipper and couch (sleep 2 people), second has futon and sofa bed (sleep 2 people), TV, adult/ children books and movies, family board games. Fully equipped kitchen with all kitchen supplies, Coffee Maker, condiment, toaster, plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Breakfast area. Dining room with 2 dining tables. Basement has fitness equipment, poker table, room with washer and dryer. House has paper towels, bathroom tissue, soaps, shampoo etc. Brand new out- door hot-tub with back jet, neck jet, sole jet. Hot-tub sits five people plus lounge. There are indoor and outdoor playgrounds for kids with a lot of toys.
Ski:
Traverse City is a skiers paradise, with miles of groomed trails that are perfect for a good workout. Several ski areas offer full- service cross-country ski facilities including equipment rentals and lighted trails for night skiing. Explore the area on snowshoes- the oldest snow sport in the world. The best trail is along the Boardman River, with rolling forested terrain and small lakes. Snowshoeing helps to burn 45% more calories than walking or running. For sheer thrills, there is nothing quite like snowboarding.
Golf:
Michigan’s Golf Coast region was selected by Golf Magazine as one of the top six golf destinations in the country
and ranked 12th in the world. The most famous are the Elmbrook Golf Course, The Crown Golf Club, the Champion Hill.
Traverse City was recognized by Golf Digest as one of the top golf destinations in the country. The Traverse City area offers great golf for both low, and not so low, handicapped golfers – with 19 participating golf courses, great dining, casinos and unique boutique shopping.
