A perfect vacation experience on St. Simons Island

This was our first visit to St. Simons Island. Our communication with the owners of the condo prior to our visit was excellent. We communicated via email and telephone. Dee was very pleasant to work with.
We were pleasantly surprised when we viewed the condo. It was immaculate and very efficient. It was nicely decorated with pleasant colors. It was equipped with DVDs, VCR tapes, reading material, audio books, etc.. We especially enjoyed coming in from a nice outdoor event and popping in a video. We didn't take advantage of the beach supplies but everyting you might need for a day at the beach was there ( towels, chairs, umbrella, radio, etc.). Although we did not cook meals while there, the kitchen was efficiently equipped with everything one might need. The king size bed was very, very comfortable and the linens were snow white. The bathroom was equipped with large, fluffy towels. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio. The description of the condo did not do it justice. It was nicer than we expected.
The amenities at Oceanwalk are excellent and accurately described. The people were very friendly.
The property is conveniently located close to the pier, village and beach. We enjoyed the pier and lighthouse area, especially in the early evening. We greatly enjoyed the village shops . Barbara Jeans was one of our favorite restaurants. We walked on the beach but did not spend a day at the beach because there were so many other things to do and we ran out of time.
I would definitely recommend this property to a friend and I hope to stay in it again in the near future.
