Four Season Lakeside Retreat

The positive is this house is in a very nice area. Security patrols it and is very clean. Even the deer are friendly and barely flinch as you drive by . And the fireplace was nice and large .
A few negatives are even though it says 'cable' tv, you only have 10 channels. It's what our cable provider calls antenna service. It's what you get if you had no cable at all but with a clearer picture. ...well being that the tv has a huge blue 6" wide stripe going down the left hand side of the tv, it's not that clear. Probably no big deal if you plan on skiing all week but for me , I like to relax inside for my vacations. Which leads me to the sofa. It's two futons which are unbearable to sit on. The metal frame is easily felt on your tush and very uncomfortable. I had to put the second sofas cushion on top of the first sofas cushion just to be able to sit without getting sore.
The front screen is broke and will not slide open without coming off the track so don't go out on the porch through that door
The master bedroom bed is awful. I laid down in the middle and literally rolled to the right side of the bed unwillingly ! Luckily thats the side I like to sleep on but I'm sure will be horrible for couples or those who like the middle of the bed.
I was alone so I can't speak for the other beds.
Also I'm used to giving a deposit over the phone and paying when I receive my key but everything is paid up front since the owner doesn't live near by nor have anyone there to accept the money . Lock box deal. But that still went well.
I definitely can't recommend this place nor will I rent there again .
