Nicely appointed home

This house was very comfortable, and the kitchen was completely stocked with everything you would need including many kinds of pots and pans, cookware, bowls for mixing and preparing, and every spice imaginable! We cooked every night for 7 adults and 2 little kids and had no issues. The place is very clean and there were plenty of linens and towels for everyone. The nice enclosed porch was where we spent most of our time (including dinners) during a relatively muggy week. The porch afforded lovely views of the gardens.
The master and first floor bedrooms were very spacious and had a lot of light. There was a lot of closet space, more than you would ever need for a week's stay. The first floor bedroom had the only tv in the house though, so the little ones always ended up in that room in the morning. The only thing we wished it had was air conditioning and more light on the porch.
The house is about 30 minutes from Bar Harbor, but it was still a fine distance from everything you'd want to see and do in the area. We'd recommend this to a group of people wanting a pleasant get-away.
