A peaceful, natural getaway on a private road, right on John's Bay. 2 bedrooms and a loft sleep six comfortably. A lovely rustic cabin with cathedral ceiling, central brick fireplace (wood included) and a large deck overlooking your private piece of the rocky Maine coast. Located one mile from the village of South Bristol, which is a 20 minute drive from Damariscotta.

Nearest Beach: beach at 5.0 Miles
Car: necessary
South Bristol is a picturesque fishing and lobstering village, still very active. The area is replete with pine forests and breathtaking ocean views. At town center, a historic swing bridge. The Christmas cove marina is a busy sailing harbor with a waterfront bar and restaurant. There is a local concert series in the village church during the summer, with many more cultural activities (concerts, plays and movies) in nearby Damariscotta. There are 2 small shops for amenities (and very fresh local seafood!) in the village, but most food shopping is in Damariscotta. Don't miss a visit to the nearby Pemaquid lighthouse as well as dropping in on the various artisans, bookbarns and antique dealers in the area.
