Our Mountain Home:
Our non-smoking, no pet, 'mountain home' is located in Powderhorn Lodge in the heart of Solitude Mountain Resort's quaint Alpine Village. It is an unusually big, exterior corner, third floor unit with two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It will comfortably sleep six adult guests with appropriate privacy. Both bedrooms have king beds, and the spacious living room has a queen sleeper sofa and stone gas fireplace. There are spectacular views in two directions from the corner living room and the large covered balcony porch with table and six chairs. Parking is included in the building’s heated underground garage with elevator access to the third floor. Our condo has been decorated and equipped for our and your convenience. Both of the bedrooms have wall mounted TVs, the living room entertainment center features a TV with both DVD and VCR players. Free hard wired internet access in our condo and free Solitude Village wireless access is included. Bring your CDs, DVDs & games.
Enjoy Our Condo:
The full kitchen is ready for you to prepare sumptuous meals. We love to cook. Food preparation is easy with the convenience of the well equipped kitchen, including accessories, utensils, and cookware. The dining area has a large dining table with six chairs and the adjacent counter top eat-in area has three bar stools. Ice maker in laundry room. We love to return to our homey condo following a day of skiing, mountain biking, or hiking to enjoy the balcony overlooking the winter ice skating rink and the lighted trees or the summer tennis court. Small selection of DVD's, VCR movies, books and games are stored in the TV cabinet. Large selection of DVDs are available for rent in the Village Store. We love the relative quiet and privacy of Powderhorn Lodge with its own outdoor hot tub and entry fireplace gathering area. The adjacent Eagle Springs Complex, a one minute walk away, houses the livelier and noisier Club Solitude. Club Solitude privileges are included with your rental.
Club Solitude and Solitude Mountain Resort:
At Club Solitude you can enjoy the outdoor heated pool, summer water slide, larger hot tubs, men’s and women’s saunas, equipped fitness center, children’s activity room including an XBox system, pool table, Foosball table or watch a movie of your selection in the media room. Books and many games are available for check out to use in the condo. The advantage of Solitude Mountain Resort is right in the name. Peace, quiet, and solitude for your vacation enjoyment. Ski all day on Utah’s 'Greatest Snow on Earth' and likely not encounter a lift line or hike to a trout filled mountain lake with the occasional deer or moose along the way instead of a trail full of hikers. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at the rustic Silverfork Lodge, just two miles down canyon, or dine in the fine restaurants in the village, The Thirsty Squirrel, Creekside or St. Bernard’s. For a winter dining experience include a reservation to eat at the adult only 'Yurt' in the woods.
