Kevin was born and raised in Iowa, where he graduated from high school before moving to the suburbs of Chicago for the next 14 years. Since then, he has lived and worked in Southern California. In 2006, he married Lane in Vancouver on September 2, 2006 and their daughter Madalyn was born on July 9, 2007. Kevin enjoys the challenges and rewards of his career in education, serving as a K-12 public school teacher, principal, director, and consultant for 24 years. He loves haunting EBAY, doing Pilates, managing the family's two rental properties, getting massages, and those very special Sunday mornings when the Kid's Choir sings at church....because his daughter has the voice of an angel.
We fell in love with the southern part of Treasure Island, which is called 'Sunset Beach' back in the early 1990's, before you could even see pictures of a vacation rental home on a computer! One night on our second 'annual' visit, we were walking out of VIP Lounge on Treasure Island, which still serves the best Mexican food, and right next door there was a real estate office with pictures of condos for sale on the island. Did I mention that I fell in love?? Well, we placed an offer on this very condo back in March of 1996 but our offer was rejected, or so we thought. About 5 months later, we received a call from the real estate agent that the owners in England had accepted our original offer and that values where actually going UP! So we hurried to make arrangements to get a loan to purchase a dreamy vacation condo: our very own 'special place' in the sun! That is why this property is so special to us and why it will always be.
