Enjoy beautiful sunsets and fun-filled days at this charming private beachfront cottage. Cedarwood cottage boasts 50 feet of private sandy beach, patio, raft, row boat, paddle boat, and dock. Silver Lake is a 600 acre spring fed all sports lake. While enjoying your stay, relax on the beach, build a fire, swim in the sandy bottom lake, or try your hand at fishing. Feel free to bring your own personal watercraft, as the boat launch is located only 3/4 of a mile down the road. The interior of the cottage has a spacious fully equipped kitchen, a large living area that overlooks the water and a cozy fireplace. The cottage is nestled on a quiet peninsula only 5 miles from downtown Traverse City. The Traverse City Beach Bums baseball field is a convenient walk from the cottage. Whether you want to relax on the beach or enjoy the sights and sounds of Traverse City, this cottage offers endless opportunities for your vacation experience.

Cedarwood Cottage is near all the sights and sounds that Traverse City has to offer. It is located 5 miles SW of Traverse City and is a short distance from Interlochen Arts Academy and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. The area is near several golf courses, shopping malls, casinos, river rafting, wineries, and the Traverse City Beach Bums ballpark. The cottage is on the east side of the lake where vacationers can enjoy sunny days and beautiful sunsets. The cottage is nestled on a quiet peninsula secluded from noisy roads and traffic. This provides the vacationer with a private and peaceful vacation experience. Cedarwood Cottage is smoke free and no pets, please.

Great accomodations and location on Silver Lake

The cottage was more like a house with all the amenities you would need to feel comfortable and relaxed. It was clean and well updated. The view was unbelievable especially when the sun set in the evening. The kids had a great time on the paddle boat and jumping off the floating dock. The lake is very close to Traverse City and all the shopping you might need to do. Golfing was minutes away and the cottage was at the end of a cul-de-sac for even more privacy. I would highly recommend it for any family wanting to get away but not to far out of the way.

Awesome Stay

We had a blast at the house. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from a local marina and spent a ton of time on the lake cruising, sunbathing, and fishing. We took a few day trips up to Traverse city and went a checked out a couple lighthouses. If you have kids like we do, a trip to Pirates Cove is a good time as well. Our trip to "Fishtown" was really neat and we enjoyed watching them bring in the fresh catch of the day. The cabin is located in a great area and is close to all the local attractions. The cabin was just like they said it was and the lake is awesome. I just can't say anything bad about our trip and we are looking forward to coming back. We had a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. The location was excellent and it was just as the pictures showed it. It had all the imenities needed to cook, sleep and shower. They had floatation devices so you could use the paddle boat and john boat. Will consider going back next year.
