Cancun Vacation Rental condo

I can't say enough about this place. Even though we were just 2 adults and a 15 year old daughter, this place was everything we wanted. Fantastic ocean views and property views from master bedroom and living room with 2 sliding doors for access. You can see the whole grounds and area from the deck which is very convenient when searching for someone by the pool area. There is a nice workout area by the pool and a spa for a massage if needed. The dining room provides a great space for dinner inside, 3 large bathrooms for privacy and room for couples getting ready for a night out (another smaller one is used for storage but can be used if needed). Unit was very clean and new. separate air conditioning units in various areas for each individuals taste. A great kitchen area with modern appliances and an internet hookup. Large screen TV for entertainment or to keep up with news worldwide. Unit has an elevator almost to the unit itself - just a few steps away.
We didn't have to fight or claim a chair by the pool by early morning in fact at anytime there was always available chairs. The two pools provided what we wanted as one was in the sun and the other had shade.
We went to Cancun in March 24-31 of 2009 and my only complaint by the pool was the sun rises at 4:45 a.m and sets at 5:00 p.m. but the hotel next door (RIU) blocked the sun at 3:15 p.m. so if you wanted sun, you had to walk the beach to find a place that wasn't blocking the sun.
The area has a lot of places to go within walking distance. A huge mall across the street within 200 feet (Plaza Caracol) with a Starbucks, two city blocks away is the Plaza Forum Mall which houses Hard Rock, Carlos & Charlies, Rain Forest Cafe, and stores and shops and a variety of dance clubs within a few hundred yards. You can swim with the dolphins within two blocks of this condo in the Dreams Cancun Resort.
Overall, I would highly recommend this property and area. I've stayed in Cancun many times in various timeshares, hotels, all inclusives and condos but I would rate this the best location and the best property because of the location, amenities, and overall cleanliness of this place. The privacy and feeling safe is priceless
The only complaints are lack of sun after 3 p.m., no beach area and failure to communicate with workers (very few know any English so be patient with the security, pool workers, spa workers and maintenence). But afterall, you are in Mexico. Habla Espanol! Viva Mexico!

My wife and I stayed here and November, and it is all you can imagine. This condominum complex puts you in the middle of everywhere you want to be in downtown Cancun. When you have had enough, you can be back inside the property, and in your own world away from all the action in minutes. The Punta Cancun complex is perfectly located. You can easily walk to the Forum Mall and have a rreat time at Carlos and Charlies, an entertaining dinner at Rainforst Cafe or one of the best steaks in Cancun at Cambalache Big Steak House.
We spent a lot of time at the condo just relaxing. With the infinity pool and a lap pool, a hot tub and a beach right there, you dont need to leave if you do not want to. I love going away to get away from it all at home, and this place allowed us to get a way and feel as comfortable as we did at home. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed. I would stay here again in a minute. The pics do not do it justice!!!

My husband and I and another couple spent 5 days here in October. The condo is absolutely gorgeous! It is a very spacious 3 bedroom unit. It is equiped with everything you will need for your vacation away from home. The view from the balcony is just breath taking.
The location is the best. It is in walking distance from all the great restaurants and shopping. We had a blast and cannot wait to go back! Highly recommended.
