Photos and Description of the Mission Beach vacation house rental 3 bedroom, 3 bath - Sleeps 12

We just purchased and totally renovated this home in Mission Beach, just 250 ft from the ocean sand. It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom tri-level home with each bedroom and bathroom on separate levels. Each bedroom has access to its own bathroom. We have remodeled the kitchen with new cabinets, granite countertops and stainless gas appliances. The home is naturally very light with all new vinyl dual-pain windows, doors and skylights. There is a fireplace in the living room with a new 42 inch plasma HDTV above the fireplace. The living room has a Lazy-Boy Queen sleeper sofa. These are extra comfortable, as you pull out the mattress and then electronically pump-up the attached air mattress on top. The master bedroom has a King-size bed and its own private deck with views of Mission Bay. The middle bedroom has a double bunk with twin on top and pull-out twin trundle bed and the lower bedroom has 2 Queen-size beds. All bedrooms have satellite dish networked televisions with DVDs.

Home is located in prestigious Mission Beach and is close to excellent restaurants, all within walking/bicycling distance, in Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. Mission Bay is a one-block quick walk and the sands of the Pacific Ocean are 250 feet away. Sailing, boating, surfing, sail boarding, water skiing, bicycling, roller blading, walking, running, and good 'ole people watching, etc., are all within 'a stone's throw'. Sea World is 2 miles away, The Catamaran Hotel is 5 blocks and The Bahia Resort is less than a mile. Lindberg Field is only 15 minutes and if you like deep sea fishing, it is just a 5 minute drive.

This house was darling!

We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at this home. It is in great proximity to the Bay and ocean and is equipped with everything a family needs for a relaxing vacation. Photos don't do this house justice. Joanne was wonderful to work with.

You Couldn't Ask for Anything More!

Our family stayed in this beautiful beach house for a week in July 2009. I don't know where to begin! This was our first non-oceanside rental in the 14 years we've been coming to Mission Beach. The 3-level layout was very clean and perfect for my husband and I and the teenagers we had with us! Each bedroom has its own bath and this made life easy! The owners were very easy to contact and took care of any questions/issues we had in a very timely manner. All in all, we would highly recommend staying at this property. It will be our destination next year, for sure! P.S. We love La Playa Tacos!

Terrific Experience

We stayed in this property in late January 2009 for 8 days. The location was perfect, Mission Bay on one side, and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Each is within 500 feet of the house. The house is in excellent condition. TVs in every bedroom, bunk beds in one bedroom, 2 queen size beds in another and a beautiful and spacious King suite. There's a bathroom on every floor, several small decks and best of all, a 2 car garage. If you stay in Mission Beach without parking arrangements, good luck. Parking is at a premium, even in Janaury.The home has lots of skylights and high ceilings which contribute to the feeling of openness inside. The kitchen appeared to be practically brand new. Our contact, Joanne, was very easy to work with and responded to all our inquiries quickly. Coordination for our arrival was excellent. If we return to the SD area again, we'll make this our first choice.

Perfect family beach rental!

We rented this house for two weeks in August. We are a family with three teenagers. The house suited our needs to perfection! Spacious, comfortable, clean, next to the beach & bay. Beach bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, towels,,,etc. Everything a family needs for a relaxing beach vacation. We were very impressed with the house and all it had to offer. I'd have no reservations with renting this house again. Thank you very much for helping us all have a wonderful vacation.

Fantastic place! Clean, beautiful, very close to Mission Bay beach and Pacific Beach. Beds were very comfortable...something very important to me! Amenities were great. Joann was terrific to work with. Our family cannot wait to go back. I have already recommended this place to family and friends. We had to stay at the W Hotel the first night of our trip due to a conference, I cannot tell you how much better this house was than a 4 star hotel! We loved it!
