This outstanding property offers peacefulness and beautiful views as well as gorgeous sunsets overlooking Blue Hill Bay. In addition to all the amenities, there is an accessible dock, with sailing, kayaking and canoeing, a shared clay tennis court and the use of a vegetable and flower garden. Located right on the ocean, you will be hard-pressed to find a more secluded property. There is a fully stocked kitchen, a deck with an outdoor shower, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, as well as games, books, and a TV/DVD player.

Located on the rugged coast of Maine, Acadia National Park encompasses over 47,000 acres of granite-domes mountains, woodlands, lakes and ponds, and ocean shoreline. Such diverse habitats create striking scenery and make the park a haven for wildlife and plants. Acadia offers a variety of activities throughout the year. During the summer, spring, and fall 45 miles of carriage roads are ideal for walking, hiking and biking. In addition, over 115 miles of hiking trails offer spectacular ocean and woodland views. Trails range from easy to strenuous. By automobile, visitors can drive the 20-mile Park Loop Road and take the 7-mile spur road to Cadillac Mountain, both of which include views of some of the most dramatic scenery along the eastern seaboard. A variety of ranger-led programs, including bird walks, boat cruises, evening slide programs, mountain hikes, stargazing, short talks, and nature walks, are available from late May to mid-October.

Notes: This incredible property, which has been a part of my family for over 70 years, offers a number of different opportunities to keep busy. Whether you are a hiker, a kayaker, a canoer, a rower, a bicycler or a tennis player, there is always plenty to do. There are 3 kayaks, 1 canoe, 2 row boats, a skull, a 19' Rhodes sailboat, and a small outboard motorboat for use by renters. All of the boats are accessed through a private pier and dock. There is a private clay tennis court which is shared with other renters.
