This completely renovated fully furnished guest house is ideally located on a quiet private country lane with an open floor plan and large sunny deck. The kitchen has all brand new appliances and there is a full size washer and dryer. A short 6/10th of a mile walk to the heart of downtown Edgartown. Enjoy all of the amenities that Edgartown Village has to offer including fine dining, shopping, award winning spa services, night life and Edgartown Harbor attractions. Walk to 4th of July Parade & Fireworks. Rinse off the sand and salt from the beach in the hot/cold outdoor shower. Relax or check emails with Wi-Fi access on the private deck or barbeque with outdoor seating. Bike to South Beach. Relax and enjoy the tranquility that surrounds you, yet only 2 miles to South Beach. Just off bike paths and easy access to all towns. Quiet location, but near everything. Private driveway. This guest house is located on the same property as our main home that we occupy.

Perfect Rental!

I was here over the last week of July 2009 and what a difference a clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated rental makes!! I have been coming out to the the Vineyard several times a year for the past 11 years....Usually I stay at the Colonial Inn Residency Suites, but their summer rates are soo over the top that I choose the rent houses during my summer visits, and save them for my Spring and Fall visits. In all my years of renting houses over the summer I have finally found the perfect place to return to. The owners are straight forward and easy to communicate with. Even though this cottage is on their personal property it is very private from their main house, you don't even know they are there. The walk to town is short and charming. And the access to Katama/South Beach is awesome because you are out of the flow of the heavy traffic that filters thru the heart of Edgartown. I plan on returning on an annual basis!

It is the perfect guesthouse!!

We recently returned from our MV vacation and have to said this is a great guesthouse. This is the 3rd year in a row renting in Edgartown with this being the best rental by far. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the interior nicely decorated & new.
The location was on a quiet street & only a short walk to downtown Edgartown. I would definitely recommend this location to a couple or small family.
We plan to return to this property again next year!

The ideal rental

This was our second year renting this house and we couldn't have been happier. The place is absolutely spotless - so nice to walk into a fresh, clean space at the start of a vacation. And it has everything you could need, from kitchen utensils, to washer & dryer, to games and movies for the kids. Owners are lovely people - available and willing to help with anything you need (they figured out how to get us wi-fi access within 30 minutes of us asking). But they're only around if you need them. Otherwise, they do there own thing and let you do yours. This is a great house for a small family. We'd highly recommend it!

Spending time on Martha's Vineyard is always like being in a different world, but this house makes it the best vacation each time we visit. It has all the necessities and lots of extra little details. Everything is immaculately clean and well maintained. The walk to Edgartown from the property is beautiful, and South Beach and Katama are only a bike's ride away on the bike path. The location provides privacy and yet easy access to all of the local attractions. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we did!
