Property was misrepresented

There's a pole barn in the backyard that is either being torn down or in the process of being built. The side of the barn facing the yard has styrofoam insulation board nailed haphazardly to the structure. The owner lives in the home when it's not rented. There's no dresser drawers to put clothes in (owner left note not to use any drawers or drink his booze), the bathroom vanity is filled with his toiletries so no room for our toothbrush, paste, curling iron, husband's shaver etc. Refrigerator & freezer filled with owners food. I cleared one shelf for our food but still felt uncomfortable mingling my food with a strangers. No room in kitchen cabinets to put dry goods like cereal, bread, etc because those were also filled with owner's food products. There is a small closet in the back bedroom to use, in the master bedroom I hung clothes in the closet alongside the owners clothes. This was all rather odd, we felt like intruders and uncomfortable staying in a strangers home with all his personal things present. The house was relatively clean and the living room was quite comfortable. My security deposit was cashed before we even arrived, I had to call the owner to reimburse me the deposit. Given the experience, we would not consider renting this property again.
Owner's Response: The property delivered everything it stated in the ad.
Yes, my barn was undergoing a facelift. However, its process had no effect on the tenents stay. tenents are always encuraged to express them self while staying. My number is always printed and waiting for them on arrival.
