Clean & comfortable. High thread count sheets. Scenic views across the street where wild life is abundant and no homes built. This get away offers comfort, Location, privacy and Peace & Quiet ! and oh - did i mention fun too ! Owner very accommodating, service oriented & prompt ! Clients always enjoy the stay and many return !! Recently remodeled & newly furnished for you to enjoy ! New for 2008 a 42 inch High Def LCD T.V. mounting on the livign room wall. This cotage is located 2 block west of downtown Douglas ( just west of the stoplight at Center street in town ). It is very near the West Shore Golf Course and a short drive to the 2 public beaches. The front street is paved and surounded by woods with few homes nearby. The 2 public beachs = Oval, & Douglas are a few minutes drive or 15 min walk. The Chain Ferry that cross' the river into Saugatuck is a 1/2 mile away and departs every 1/2 hour. This is greal location and close to it all with out the parking hassles and the noise of a tourist.

Looking for comfort and service ?: This Home Is Well Furnished From Kitchen To Bath. It has a very large private back yard for entertaining or relaxing with pets. Many renters return each year to this Very Comfortable & Clean & Modern Living Space. New this year 2008. 42 inch wall mounted High Def T.V. also an electric fire place that looks very real and can glow with out creating heat in the summer. Also new out door speakers on the patio for stereo. Maps, On The Town Guides and Current Info about things to do and see are all Furnished In The Home. Note- Some photo's are current winter Pictures but when the leafs are in bloom, the street scape and back yard are very Private.

Back Yard: The Fence Is A 5 Foot Chain Link all around the back yard. I have never had a renters pet, Big or Small ever escape from it. There Is Plenty of room in the back yard for the pets to run and play. It also has shady areas but the patio is sunny most the day. Just open the back door of house and let the pets run in the back yard.

Location: Home is located just 1 block west of down town. Between Lake Michigan and Blue Star highway. It is only a few minutes walk to down town or to the public beach. Even the Chain Ferry that cross's the river into Saugatuck is a short walk down the road. The location of the house is very wooded and only two doors down from one other listing on here called the Sophisticate. Nice neighborhood very private & quiet yet close by.

We rented this house for a week last summer and it was wonderful! This was a very clean house in a quiet friendly neighborhood. It was close to everything! The fenced in back yard was great for our two dogs! Lots of room to run!
The owner was also very nice and accomadating!

The house was great! The description of the house was accurate. It was even better in person. The property was very clean. I was able to bring my dog, and that was a big determining factor to rent this property. The owner was very courteous and accommodating. The house was not far from the street, but it was very quiet. I would highly recommend this property to a friend. It was close to the beach, you could walk or ride your bike to town. You were in close driving distance to Holland and Grand Haven. This property was better than going to a spa. I was also very lucky, the weather was perfect. Marie
