'The House at Blueberry Island' has a light, roomy, summertime feel. It sits on a very private space, almost an acre in area with a small fenced pond and a rolling lawn that invites outside activities. It's many-windowed rooms and large mahogany deck present a panoramic view over a fenced duck pond and the marsh to Cape Cod Bay, providing wonderful sunset and bird watching opportunities. Herons and many other birds and small animals feed and nest in the bushes around the pond. While a sighting can't be guaranteed, river otters periodically come up from Namskaket Creek to raid the pond's small fish and frogs. Amenities include a phone and fax, wireless interent, TV/VCR, a gas grill and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and oversized refrigerator as well as a washer and dryer. A basement TV room allows guests to separate the TV watchers from those interested in quieter pursuits such as watching the sun set.
