Nothing compares to this beautiful beach house!

I am really really late writing this review, but it REALLY needs to be done. Mr. and Mrs. Harlan have gone to great lengths to make this the most comfortable, relaxed, and beautiful beach home you will find.
First of all, they have EVERYTHING in the house that you could possibly need for your stay. We have stayed in other beach homes in Padre that were okay, but they didn't have the simple things you might need like pots and pans. Who wants to go on vacation and have to buy basic essentials such as these? There were 8 of us last year, My husband and I and our three kids, my parents and my aunt. We all slept very comfortably and had PLENTY of room.
Secondly, the home is in a perfect location. VERY short walk to the beach access down the street and restaurants around the corner.
Third, we had a few problems getting settled in the morning we arrived (there was a water leak on the next street that killed everyone's water) and the management they have taking care of the property met us there within 15 minutes and stayed with us until it was fixed - even explained where we would find the best things to do in Padre!
FOURTH, my mother left all of her jewelry in a drawer the morning we left to come back to Dallas. They found it and mailed it back to us within a few days. You absolutely CANNOT beat being able to trust people!!
Finally, and the BIGGEST reason for choosing this house, is the INCREDIBLE backyard and pool!! You wouldn't think you would need a pool being so close to the beach - people come to Padre to go to the beach, right? The owners have gone to great trouble to provide a tropical backyard that makes you completely forget there is anyone else on the island. The plants are amazing and there are some pink flowers that have the sweetest smell I have ever encountered. The pool was CLEAN and beautiful. My family spent more time in the pool than we did at the beach. It was so awesome to be able to walk out the back door and relax when we were worn out from the beach - the kids were NEVER bored.
All in all, I do not know of anything more Mr. and Mrs. Harlan could have done to make our stay more enjoyable. We hope to stay again this year!! Nothing else even compares!
