Sea eScape. 2 bedrooms upstairs with 1 bath, with efficiency apartment downstairs that can sleep 6 with its private bathroom and efficiency kitchen. Very nice, newly renovated beach house beautifully decorated with brand new furniture, appliances and linens. The landscaped private back yard has a beautiful new pool, large patio with pavers and retaining wall, outdoor shower, and gas grill. The upstairs front porch is large and breezy and a wonderful place for breakfast as you watch the sunrise. Great for large families, reunions or groups wanting to share accommodations, with the ability to separate the units via private entrance to the downstairs apartment. Sleeps 12. Central air, full kitchen upstairs. Ample parking. Quiet street near grocery store, theater and the entertainment district. Direct beach access 1/2 block from house (gulf side of the island). *This is a Non-Smoking rental.* Upstairs-only rental available to Winter Texans on a monthly basis.

Beach-related activities are countless. South Padre Island’s latitude is comparable to that of Miami Beach. Average water temperatures vary from 77 to 83 degrees from May through October. January, the “coldest” month of the year on the Island, has air temperatures that have an average low of 52 degrees and an average high of 68 degrees. The Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark is great for family entertainment. At the southern tip of island, the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center is a spectacular introduction to a world-class destination. Port Isabel, across the Queen Isabella bridge linking South Padre Island to the mainland, offers Rio Grande Valley history on the border with Mexico, on the Laguna Madre (bay). Port Isabell's most visible feature is the recently restored 72 foot Port Isabel Lighthouse, which was constructed in 1852 and is open to the public. A trip to Matamoros, Mexico is only 30 miles away, across the Rio Grande River from Brownsville, Texas.

  • Winter Texans can rent the upstairs, which has two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa (sleeps 6 in all), for $1,200 a month (multiple months) or a single month for $1,400.

A true home away from home! Every room was so well furnished. Extra pillows, extra towels, plenty of serving ware in the kitchen. The location to everything was just perfect. I felt like we were in the center of all the businesses up and down Padre Blvd. We were able to walk to many places. We were in SPI for a cheer competition so there were several families there. Many were quite envious of our location and accommodations. We had more than enough room and we were paying about the same as many of the other families who only had hotel rooms/suites with micro/fridges!
The owner and real estate company went above and beyond when it came to taking care of us!! They made the entire rental process so easy!!
You will be more than pleased if you stay at this house!!

Great Vacation Getaway

The owners of this property are super nice and were easy to make all arrangements with. The landscape in the backyard around the pool is beautiful. The house is located in an excellent area- right in the center of shopping area's, near stores, and the beach. We all had a great time at Schlitterbahn one day, and the beach one day but also highly enjoyed hanging at the house and swimming in the pool. We had kids with us ranging in age from 7-19 yrs old and they all had a blast. We did not eat out, We cooked all our meals to save money. The HEB in Port Isabel is very affordable. The kitchen has all the appliances and dishes you will need. The beds are super comfortable and the lay out of the house works very well. We stayed 3 nights and wish we had stayed 4-5 nights. You will love this house with its own private pool!!

our stay at south padre island

we have stayed in different places at south padre island for the last 15 years that my family and I have been going. but this place beats all, we enjoyed it so much. most of the time we gathered at the pool and ate dinner on the patio. we were 1/2 a block (walking distance) to the beach, stores were right around the block, we walked everywhere!!! i recommend this place to everyone of all ages. we had the family which consisted of age 7 to 48 years of age and all enjoyed!! very clean and well taken care of, slept 12 very comfortable. we will for sure be back in years to come. thank you so much!!!! recommend highly to everyone!!!!

This house was really cute, decorated nicely, slept comfortably. Walking distance to the beach. The back patio and pool was very nicely landscaped. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental.
