Relax and enjoy your stay at our comfortable condo at Mesquite. We are certain you will love it here.
We live in Coquitlam, British Columbia, a suburb of Vancouver. We both work full time, parents of a teenager and two Newfoundland dogs. We love the sunshine as it sure beats some of the rainy winter Northwest days. Golfing is a passion of ours, so the wonderful climate of Palm Springs is perfect for that.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2007
We love the location of Mesquite Country Club. It is so accessible to the airport and downtown, without the noise of either. The grounds of our compex is meticulous. We are so pleased with the care the gardeners take with the area. We believe that our unit is one of the best as it is so private. The end unit allows for fantastic, unobstructed views of the local mountains.
'i just want to thank you so very much for sharing your lovely condo with my family and myself.
I loved the location and the pool being so close. We had a wonderful time calling your condo home for our 2 week vacation.
Spent a week in this condo during a golf trip in April/May,2015. It had everything we needed and then some. The location was central to all the courses we wanted to play as well close to downtown and the airport. The unit was clean and well looked after. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and well stocked with condiments. The close proximity of the pool was very welcome after a day of golf in the heat. The owners were very accommodating and the instructions for accessing the unit were clear and detailed. Although easy access to both the owners and the local manager was provided, there was no need to do so. Our arrival and
setup was seamless. We are veteran visitors to Palm Springs and usually choose a ground level unit. However,
in this complex, the upper unit actually works better than a lower one especially when relaxing on the deck having breakfast. Thanks for everything Sandra.
Great place to stay. Very near everything, downtown, shopping, golf! Overlooking pool. Owners very helpful and quick to respond. Well stocked with lots of condiments and extras.
The condo was a great base for exploring the Palm Springs area, conveniently located and well-stocked with supplies and amenities. The owners were friendly, responsive, and helpful. It was clean and the beds very comfy. The condo pool was warm enough to swim in the winter (a real treat). We especially enjoyed hiking in the nearby Indian Canyons area.
We are Pennsylvanians and had tried to swap one of our Marriott timeshare weeks for a 2BR/2BA at one of the Palm Desert Marriotts or Westins through Interval World. No dice after a six month wait, so with a week left I contacted Sandra and rented this place. Very easy to deal with. She emailed me a nice set of directions and "operating instructions" for the condo. Though she is in Canada, they engage a local property manager, Bruce, who was exceedingly helpful in getting us settled in.
This is a small condo community (fine with us!) beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Parking was under cover car port adjacent to the steps of our unit. Given the holiday week, the community was lightly occupied, I'd say 30%, so parking was plentiful. The unit is immaculately clean and conveniently located adjacent to one of the community's spa/pool areas. Just a short walk down to the pool with my wine in the plastic wine glasses provided (along with maybe two dozen glass ones!...no shortage).
My wife appreciated the well stocked larder with all the condiments and supplies that one might need, including coffee, tea. That's always an issue going to a Marriott unit (very elegant, but the cupboards are bare). She is always packing a plastic bags of salt, pepper, sweetener, sugar and essential seasonings, but she need not have bothered on this trip. The kitchen lacked for nothing. Well equipped. Note: We discovered "two buck Chuck" wine at Trader Joes. Wow! We have Trader Joes in PA, but no '2bc' since Penna. feels that we might over indulge if it they did not control the the dispensing of alcoholic beverages through its Wine and Spirits stores.
The master bedroom had a great mattress, the bathroom was brand new and had a wonderful large shower stall with seat and great sliding doors. I never ventured into the guest area, but my son and his g/f seemed pretty content with it also. The living room furniture was very comfortable, though being readers, not tv watchers, we could have used better lighting in the evening. Sandra says she will be adding more floor lamps on their next trip down.
This was a great place to stay for our first stay to PS. We enjoyed some great dining out (and grilling in) as well as a trip up the mountain on the Tramway - must do! And five rounds of golf.
Sandra contacted me to return the deposit as soon as her agent had inspected the place upon our departure. You won't go wrong by spending a week here.
This was our first experience with VRBO and with renting a condo rather than staying at an hotel. We love PSP and having our own place for our annual pilgrimage made it that much better. Everything in the condo greatly surpassed our expectations. From the bedrooms to the kitchen, not forgetting the freshly renovated bathrooms. And to top it off, the pool & spa are litterally right out the door (and down a few steps). It was as if we had it all to ourselves for most of our stay. Sandra was a pleasure to deal with and our deposit was quickly returned after our stay, once the necessary verifications had been made. This is truly a gem, a diamond in the Califiornia desert. We will absolutely choose this condo over any other for any of our upcoming stays. We are even considering a longer term rental (2-3 months) when the time is right, i.e. when work is not in the way. Thank you Sandra and Doug for a memorable vacation!
My children & I stayed for a week in early June & had a fantastic time! Upon arrival we realized the pool located directly below the unit was closed for service, but after an email to the owners, they called back immediately & directed us to another pool that was about a 30 second walk away. It was no big deal at all & my kids & I enjoyed the pool day & night! The condo was perfect for us-size, amenities, sleeping arrangements, etc. They really do mean the kitchen has everything you could possibly need! There were plenty of towels & they even had extra bath essentials such as shampoo, toothpaste, & even sunblock.
The whole transaction with the owners was smooth & easy & they are wonderful communicators. The location is just a few minutes away from downtown in one direction & shopping centers in the other. It was perfect! The only thing that bothered me was the fact that I couldn't walk on & off the property as we couldn't figure out if there were keys to get back in other than the gate key for vehicles. I could have easily overlooked an entrance for pedestrians though. It wasn't necessary as we drove everywhere to explore anyway. Was just curious when I tried going for a walk one night. Didn't matter as I just went swimming anyway!
I would definitely rent from them again & would recommend the condo as well.
