The Hammocks, a resort style coastal residential haven in the harbor and beach region of the Cape Haze Peninsula on Florida's West coast. The Hammocks is a private gated master-planned community of 234 Old Florida-style villas and condominium residences built harmoniously within a nature preserve and estuary alongside the sparkling waters of Lemon Creek.

The Hammocks at Cape Haze will offer a truly unique coastal lifestyle with luxury amenities not found in other resort communities in this region. While tranquil and private, The Hammocks is close to all the conveniences of Charlotte County including Englewood, the recreation of Boca Grande and beauty of Palm Island with easy access to the beaches and area activities like fishing, boating, kayaking, sailing, golf, dining, arts and entertainment.

This condo was as advertised and met all our criteria. Beautiful and well equipped.

For our personal needs, with love staying at The Hammocks. This facility has a pool and gym. The Hammocks is also one of the newest built communities with all stainless steel appliances and granite countertops We also like the security of staying at a gated community. Premises at The Hammocks are clean and well maintained by a very professional management company.

There are also many beaches surrounding this community. Our favorite is nearby Boca Grande which is just minutes away and very convenient. The fishing on the Boca Grande beach is wonderful. The town has many restaurants and a beautiful golf course. There are many nearby places and attractions to visit, including Gasparilla Island and one of our favorite is the short boat ride to Palm Island to Rum Bay Restaurant for lunch.

Port Charlotte, Venice, and Sarasota are a reasonable car ride away. Sarasota has the beautiful Botanical Gardens and The Ringling Museum of Art.

We hope to rent at this unit for many years to come. Tthe owners have always addressed any needs immediately.
