Beaches:
There are several options for beaches, all a Very short bike or car ride. Lobersterville beach is on the harbor side and offer a gentle surf for kids and wonderful sand beaches. Access is included in the rental. Philbin and Gayhead beach are ocean side and the surf can be strong. But walking along these beaches, Especially At Sunset, is a must. Access to Philbin beach requires a weekly parking permit. Just bring a copy of your lease to town hall (less then a mile from the house). Here's a secret. After 4 PM the parking attendant at Philbin goes home and parking is free. Bikes can come and go as they please.
