Puerto Vallarta Vacation Rental condo

We found this condo by chance, always stayed in a hotel before. I would never stay at a hotel again. This was great, everything we needed The condo is well appointed and have every thing you need
it is in a grat location no need for a cab or car. It was clkean comfortable. The bed was great for sleep not to soft or too hard. we slept like we were at home. Everythig was as describe on the web site and more. Don't miss the river cafe in the middle of the bridge and down the stairs for dinner great place .

Condo Acierto was the perfect choice. We have been to Puerto Vallarta 5 years in a row. We have stayed in different condo's before,but by far this was the best. I could not have asked for a better location. You can walk a couple of blocks to everything. The beach was right across the street.The condo was totally equipped, from the wonderful stainless appliances to the beach towels and umbrella.
Dan was the best,from the time of booking to when we got home. He couldn't have been more knowledgeable about Puerto Vallarta and the instructions he sends are right on the money. His responses via email or phone are quick and efficient.There are contact numbers for any problems that can arise in Puerto Vallarta so we never felt alone.
The condo is about 600 sq ft. It was very clean and well maintained. It had all that you could possibly need. The TV chanels were a surprise with so many in English.
We enjoyed the little balcony for drinks while watching the sunsets. The local phone was a plus as was the wireless internet.
The complmentary laundry room was clean and located within the building. We were even supplied laundry soap and fabric softener . Wow! We were very surprised and pleased.
The secure elevator building has a wonderful, roof top lounge with sunbathing and a whirlpool although not heated. The views on the roof are wonderful to watch the fireworks at night.

The double set of floor to ceiling sliding windows in the living room and bedroom are great.The block out curtains really keep the sun out while you are gone. We had one problem, the air conditioning. It will freeze you out until you realize it is in celsius LOL.

What else can I say it was perfect. We love the price . We feel value for our money was surpassed. We have contacted Dan for next years reservation.

We rented the condo for the month of July; who goes to Mexico in the summer? We do and we would do it again! OK, let's get the challenges out of the way first: yes, the street is noisy; yes. ear plugs are a must; yes, the buses rival the Indy 500---so what! If you wanna stay in a fancy pants place and not meet the real Mexico, you know where to find them. There is a "perch" that is a shade cloth covered area on the top of the roof; I would take my morning coffee and afternoon Pacifico up there and try to remember the last time I ever relaxed like this. The view was 360 degrees of PVR; the sunsets were spectacular; the fireworks were brief but alot of fun to watch. Wanna mix it up with the locals, walk the Malecon; wanna go to a great place for Mojitos, go to La Palapa; wanna sit and relax on the beach, pick any hotel beach with an umbrella, treat the waiters with respect and buy a few beers or just plain water and enjoy; wanna get a great breakfast, go to The Pancake House; wanna have a lousy meal that costs more than it should, go to El Torito.
Keep in mind that Mexico is Mexico! There is a sign in Old Town that says, "The customer is always wrong! Always." Enough said.
Local pharmacies were close; local markets were close. Wanna see why WalMarts has revenues of 200 trillion gazillion? go to the local one and watch the sales wrack up.
The condo was clean; the bathroom was clean; the main entrance is a little challenging until you learn the trick for the locks: street entrance--turn right; inside entrance--turn left. Cable was schetchy at best but what the heck.
A/C will freeze you out. Buy a Magic Jack to place call thru your computer back to the US; made dozens of calls--crystal clear not one dropped call. Cost: $20/year. Yeah! it really works.
