Endaba Valley Retreat is situated in a private, pristine valley on 122 acres with three sides bordering National Forest. The lodge great room, dining room, kitchen and each and every of its many bedrooms boasts of beautiful mountain views and views of its own spring-fed ten-acre lake! Fish for trout from the lakeshore or from the rowboat or paddle boat provided. Sled or tube down the hills on the property. Watch elk, deer, turkeys, waterfowl and other abundant wildlife from the comfort of the lodge, from the large deck or while hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing or picnicking in your own secluded paradise.

Endaba, meaning 'gathering place', is true to its word with over 6500 square feet of living area, 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a 30x50 foot great room, a commercial-sized kitchen, a game room with pool/ping pong table, a steam shower and an outdoor hot tub (Sept-May only)! TV room in the basement has a 46' flat screen TV.

Main level has a gas fireplace. Endaba Valley Retreat, which sleeps up to 25 people is the perfect place for a family reunion, a multi family vacation, corporate retreat or even a wedding!

All of this is only 12 easy miles (20 minutes) from the charming town of Pagosa Springs, where you can soak in their renowned hot springs, visit Pagosa's restaurants and shops, and go rafting or fishing in the nearby rivers, lakes and streams. Golf at Pagosa's 27-hole championship course is only 15 minutes from the lodge. Unlimited hiking and biking trails are on the property and also in the adjoining national forest. You can ski at Wolf Creek Ski area, which is 30 minutes from town, take day trips to Mesa Verde Indian ruins, ride the narrow gauge railroad from Durango to Silverton or enjoy watersports in the Navajo reservoir.

Bring your horses. Corral with watering facilities and adjoining 6-acre fenced pasture within steps of the lodge!

Sleeping arrangement: three bedrooms with a king-sized bed (all upstairs); three bedrooms with a queen (one on main level, one upstairs and one in basement); one bedroom with two twins (upstairs); one bedroom with 5 twins one double (basement); TV room with two queen sofa sleepers (basement); loft with full-sized sofa sleeper (upstairs). Five sleeping areas have private bathrooms!

Sorry, but no snowmobiling, shooting or hunting on the property, nor may it be used as access to the forest for such purposes. Endaba is a wildlife refuge! (However, snowmobile trails are available off of nearby forest and county roads). Lodge only, not land, is included in lease.

Thanksgiving get away

If your 3 to 93, there is always a great time to have in Endaba Valley. We spent some time in Endaba for our Thanksgiving get-away this year, with a few other families. The house is exteremly comfortable with many bedrooms & bathrooms to choose from, a chef-style kitchen with every tool to prepare the perfect meal. When you walk in the great-room your amazed by the breath-taking views. Perfect retreat get-away for anyone. We never wanted to leave! Thank you, we definitely want to go back.

Relaxing Thanksgiving Weekend

We joined with several friends and their families for a Thanksgiving get-away at Endaba this year. It was so much fun for all! The cabin was wonderfully set-up to accommodate a large group. We all had plenty of room for our families yet the cabin still felt cozy and home-like. The children loved hiking in the snowy forest just outside our backdoor or watching a movie in the den in the basement. Cooking in the commercial-sized kitchen was a breeze. Bring plenty of water with you - we did. Even the beds were comfortable and I'm usually pretty sensitive to this. Would definitely love to go back again.

Owner's Response: Guests don't need to bring water. We have an unlimited supply of rocky mountain spring water!

A little bit of Heaven!!!

Our family and friends spent eight wonderful nights at Endaba. The drive up to the home was so beautiful and there was great anticipation for what we may find. Endaba did not disappoint!! The home exceeded our expectations with plenty of room, supplies, and privacy that anyone would or could possibly need. The caretaker was very accessible and helped us with any of our needs, and the owner was very efficent and informative answering all of my questions prior to our stay. The pond added some fun with the paddle boats provided, however we were unable to catch any fish. The kitchen was so accomedating to our large group having double refridgerators, ovens, dishwashers, and a large stove. Endaba allowed our family to have a fabulous family vacation, and I would love to go back!!
